My thoughts about current Versus balance

Heroes:

Javelin is OPAF. It can oneshot headshot every special, elites, it has unlimited ammo, no damage falloff. It staggers everyone: all specials, elites, hookrat, CW. Low aim penalty. high boss damage. Insane dodge
With Asrai Alacrity and Willow Stance on HM it is frkn machine gun with super fast reload, you can just dodge dance through the horde and kill every single elite and special NP

BOP is OPAF. Good damage overall, BH can crit headshot oneshot. It has clip size to kill like 4 specials without realod, it doesnt loose aim under fire, you can outshot ratling face to face from like 30 meters. insane dodge, you can dodge dance in a horde and shoot reaload NP.

Skavens.
FS needs to deacrease range from wich you can go to redeploy. Now it is just too frkn big. Some times you need to run 10 seconds.

S tier: Ratling.
You can do cheap damage from long safe distance to finish low HP targets
You can burst them in seconds from close range
You can slow heroes down
You can break their shields
You can interrupt revives
You can mess up their aim
You can strafe and jump while shoting
He is the reason why shields are meta

A tier: Packmaster, Troll and Globe. They are fine

Suicide squad (crap tier):
Gutter runner - most of the time you jump from orbit to the target, deal some damage and die. Thats your gameplay. But he becomes beast when you need to finish 1-2 guys.
Cant finish targets like in campaign, cant teleport after flashbang like i campaign.
Fix - Smokebomb should throw you straight into redeploy, inital pounce damage should be increased.

Warpfire thrower - most useless guy in a party. You need to be really close to deal any damage. And most damage you can do is 36 for full salvo. And you need 3 seconds! to do this damage. It is just pathetic. Ratling can deal about 90 damage in the same time from close range. And also you cant move while shooting
But 90% of time you do like 8 damage, because everyone will just stagger you and kill.
Fix - increase damage by 1.5X, immune to stagger, move while shooting. Add explosion with fire after death.

BoP is not OP

The only outlier that could be seen is BH in how good he can dedĂ­cate his talents towards them, but blame the class not the weapon, but even with hog good the class makes the BoP be, he still falls easily when targetted by ratlings and assassins

BoP has insane damage falloff, meaning that unless you’re playing BH, most specials die in 3, 4 or 5 shots at range

The reload is abysmally slow as well, thing that whoops, BH circumvents

Did you never meet Zealot\WHC+RV combo?

3-4 shots from BOP is like 0,5-1 seconds.

I feel like warpfire thrower is a bit maligned: what you say it’s true, but if you place yourself well (granted, that’s a lot harder to do than with a ratling) you can be a big problem for them. Venting is quite fast, so you can annoy them for longer times. With a ratling gun reloading takes ages.

It is a bit weird that you have to vent the moment you stop, even if you barely lit the thing.

It works with unexpirienced players. Other know that they can just jump on you stagger and kill with any ranged weapon.
And the biggest problem - you get him randomly. Like in the fields of against the grain.

I found thy BOP is such OP crap.

Look how they loose any aim penalty between ratlings bullets. It is almost instant. Thats why it is imposiible to outshoot BH from almost any range, he just turns and kills you.

Needing to headshot to oneshot is hardly op. Many people who want to do that are running the musket anyway and even your average ironbreaker can wreak havoc, not to mention that both BH and waystalker get guaranteed crits and can oneshot bodyshot specials already.

The difference is that handgun has 12 ammo and needs reload after every shot.

I found good spots for Warpfire. But there is still ONE big problem.
Sometimes(mostly) you cant get him in spots and times where he is good.

And especially against good team that speedruns every hard points.
For example first building in agaisnt the grain. Or big building at the end of map 1. They just open gates, throw barrel at the same second. And run through it, mostly you cant do anything about it.

I still cant spawn as troll, but Barrel is already in place

Yes, and even tho You can practically have infinite ammo, as BH You can’t hold long

100 hp, no movement tech, mid/bad thp gain

He’s extremely annoying to fight, but Zealot and WP are still better classes than BH when everyone in the lobby is good

Zealot on the other hand, while better than BH, he doesn’t really feel bs to fight. His pistols reload slowly, his talents don’t make him shut down what the rats can do, and he doesn’t get ranged crits to exterminate ratlings from afar (he needs 4-5 shots at long range)

Not sure about him being better. I use helashare on BH. I just die, drink potion and heal everyone, repeat. Sometimes i even die to Skaven slaves just to be revived safely.
With FK+HM there is no way Skavens can finish you.
I like zealot, he is really cool with his speed after damage and no slow down talent.

That’s more of a FK being a mega OP anchor, and HM mega benefitting from the amount of wounds (they should be reduced)

Yea. Without curren revive meta he would be weaker, i guess even balanced

One thing that makes OP insane in the hands of a BH is that it’s virtually unaffected by the aim-punch of the enemy specials.

I tried it for a round yesterday, and I went from my usual single digit eliminations to a full 30.
Granted, that also means I suck with a sniping weapon, but this feature of the BoP is also what makes it so frustrating to play against.

Play WHC/Zealot with BoP and you’ll realize it’s not the lack of aimpunch what makes the weapon be an issue

BH is just annoying by design on versus due to the free crit and faster reload speed of the guns

Honestly the easiest fix for BH if they think this is a real issue is just banning the talent that reduces the timer for the crit to 6s
