Good question. I have over 200k Melk coins at this moment, and he has very rarely anything worth buying for actual use. It’s always for collecting some blessing.
Now I have most tier 4 blessings already (don’t care about t3 and lower). I’m not sure what to do with the Melk bucks. Buy every t4 blessing that shows up just to have a complete collection, even if I don’t plan to use certain blessings? Will that completeness have any relevance for the announced “expertise” in creating weapons?
I don’t like about these Melk contracts that they “lock” me into playing a certain class for some missions if I want that 1000 bonus. Sometimes that task just drags on, like shooting 1000 dregs as a zealot who is mainly melee. I always reject the 16 grims and 8 missions contracts and just go for kill and collect. Sometimes I do the “1 without casualties” as skill 1 speedrun if everything else fails, and even then I had someone hanging from a ledge on the last map, minutes before the contract ends…
So, if we can aquire blessings by playing and can finally craft weapons as we like, then I really don’t see what the arrogant guy will be good for, except for telling my zealot he stinks and my ogryn he’s dumb…
There’s loads you could do with Melk. And the map. And linking the two together…
sigh
This week we’ve seen a huge influx of Scabs in the Torrent
Kill 300 scabs in the torrent
This week we’re running low on IAG and Rifle rounds
Collect 1000 non-IAG and non-Brauto kills
Complete 5 Rapid-Strike Missions
Then on the map, Morrow determines specific maps that need completing, and they cycle each 30 minutes.
IDK. Likely a better idea out there. But I do know that completing 6 missions without any deaths is closer to a penance than a task. And I have 4 (5 inc a lower level zealot) alts to work through so I just pick the lowest numbers I can to get that 1000 * 4 bonus. Not that Melk ever sells good weapons.
