Maybe we should stop asking FS to do something?

Realistically next summer we’ll get a sale on the dlc thats available and that’ll be the time to actually play the game.

Yeah, but they got my money -now-.

Oh I know, I’m not saying they didn’t burn us with this one.

Just read previous patches, pal. You will understand me

I heard, that 1.2 will be released next month and it will be a again a huge update, apparently with alot of Balance aspects. I hope for the red dupe fix too. Remember, Fatshark will eventually fix the game, its just a matter of time.

No. I expect them to put anything new into the game atleast once every two months. And no, I dont count Sonnstill, because it didnt add anything but a cosmetic frame.

Also it really isnt too much to ask for a few balance tweaks to clearly underperforming weapons, and maybe whack some of the over-performing ones like halberd. Some careers need looking at aswell. Did I forget bug fixes like missing backstab sounds and horde waves being silent when you have your back turned to them? Yeah.

Yea nah I’ve given up asking for anything or reporting any bugs. A community can only take radio silence for so long. All we’ve gotten to hear about it “Xbox release” “Micro Transactions” “DLC 1 soon”. Oh cool so more money for us to spend on a broken, un fun, buggy mess of a game. Screw FS

coding software is different than building a house, you can’t just throw more people at it and automatically it will be ready in no time and i’m yet to stumble on a bug free game. to say that this is early access material is preposterous. bug fixin’ ain’t that easy even if it’s easy to reproduce. I’m not saying that I want VT to remain in current state people seem to get upset way to easily, just give it time.

How is it preposterous? You could argue its late development early access pretty easily in its current state. Plenty of EA titles were playable mostly finished games before going live, and I’m not saying this as a dig just the game is currently unfinished. It needed another year in the oven but for a reason I doubt we’ll ever hear its out now.

I think i’m too used to the trend of unpolished games that beg for a “game of the year” edition. As long as the product is playable and provides the core experience, i’m alright with it.

In this case however, I’m also comparing it to Vermintide 1. On launch it had a similar number of maps available just fewer options to tinker with(no sub-classes, crafting was missing initially, slower progression). So from my point of view it improved the previous title on all aspects.

I can also understand that FS need to make a living and it’s a pretty tough business. They provided me with an experience I was aching for and have my support for this. No blind faith or the likes, just my best hopes. I didn’t check the number of hours played in this game but for what I paid, I consider the price was worth it.
