Issue Description:
Maulers and Crushers don’t have footstep sounds, and Maulers’ chainmauls or whatever the weapon is they use, it no longer makes a revving sound and is also completely silent. I’ve had both Maulers and Crushers sneak up on me more silent than a Pox Walker or Groaner.
I’ve noticed this is only the case in missions.
Their aggro lines will play and are at a perfectly normal volume (but only if it’s ambient enemies that have been pulled), but none of their attack/footstep sounds are audible.
Occasionally I will hear the mauler chainsaw attack if I’m right in their face and looking directly at them (I’m on a 5.1 setup), but usually only hear either a backstab sound or the THUMP as the attack hits the ground.
It’s extra surprising because testing in the psykanium with the Creature Spawner mod, Maulers are incredibly loud and distinctive. Even when spawning 100 poxwalkers and a dozen riflemen, I can still easily make out their chainsaw sounds, on top of their very obvious attack shouts (BREAK YOU HUUUURG).
Same with the Crushers, they have very noticeable audio cues and a loud attack shout, none of which I ever seem to hear in an actual game (again, only their aggro line, which doesn’t even play in horde waves).
Elites that get spawned as part of hordes seem to be almost completely silent. Ragers have always been quiet, but it’s more of a problem now now with how tankier and how many of them spawn at once. Crushers and maulers don’t play any of their cues either and they can silently overhead attack you into the ground.
