Make a catalog for the Premium Store items, like in Vermintide 2. Get rid of the FOMO

The game has been out for over two years now. As someone who took breaks, and for someone with friends who got into the game later… think of how many people don’t have outfits they want? Some people may not buy things immediately because of it, but SO MANY outfits have been released over the past couple of years that there are most certainly a lot of people who would like to get in on some of the old things. Like for me, it’s the Aribites stuff. Why not let me give you your money? Why not make a catalog so lots of people can give you money with all of the cool things? The catalog was great in Vermintide 2, in the same engine at that. You would make a lot more money, and a lot more people would be able to dress how they want.

Should’ve bought them when they were available innit? Should’ve kept logging in every rotation innit?

I despise virtual currencies as transparently cynical revenue-enhancing devices that confer no benefit to the consumer, and even I would probably buy something if it was a normal store.

Until then, I won’t buy anything. I can’t be the only one.

I managed to actually drop my balance to 0 so I don’t want anything anymore. But I’m sure the CBA is far out of our favor here, it has recieved nothing but rising prices since launch. And they never respond to any feedback on it.

The moment I heard that DT will have a premium currecy, I called that it would be a sh!tshow.

My buddies tried to tell me that it may not be that bad, it could still be fine.

I am not letting them live that down. Then again, they don’t care. Not one of them bought aquilas and none of them came back to the game.

While I agree with this, this is (more than usual) screaming into the void because FS is all on Christmas break right now.

True, but it’s going in the Book of Grudges.

premium currency feels so much as mobile gaming stuff
that should never been a thing for pc gaming, it makes the product feel so bad

it is also an easy and lazy way to earn money, by selling meaningless stuff instead of actual content.

and premium currency often made to deceive people with left over, and trying to dissuade people from the actual value of things cause the made up numbers instead of using the real currency.

Hell yeah, I want to be able to buy stuff when I want!

EXACTLY !!!

You speak as if such system would make Fatshark more money and they are stupid for not doing it this way. The reality is if catalog made them more money than the fomo store, we would have a catalog, and not a fomo store

See, that’s assuming a degree of ‘enlightened self-interest’ that I don’t think Fatshark possesses.

I think they’re just addicted to the idea of FOMO making them money and willing to ignore any and all data that says otherwise. Look at how long it took them to bend on crafting when it was transparently obvious it wasn’t working in terms of player retention.

I’d call than thinking in bad faith, but you’re literally the guy that larps as a WHFB dwarf, so that’s just par for the course
