Legend Pubs: Complete Weapon Tier List (Caution, Opinions Inside)

Weapons like Exe Sword or 2H hammer have a sweep as every attack. Spear, as first attack, has a thrust. If you are surrounded or if you are into enemies’ range, you must push otherwise, during thrust attack, you can be hit. I haven’t said that you need stamina every single time, maybe you can have a smooth run where you never get surrounded… but I still think Spear uses more stamina than other weapons.

But mostly, to use stamina or not, it’s just a little thing (in fact, when I have made for you the post with stagger and armor damage value, I haven’t even written it).

The most important thing is that Spear must not nerfed because it has pro and cons toward other weapons and because it has a weak point: armor damage, wich is very low.

I have talked a lot about Halberd, but I admit that it’s a bad example… because Halberd, even if it still has a niche (as I have shown to you, its armor damage is higher), needs a buff.

But compared with 2H Hammer and Exe Sword, Spear has various cons. Both have much more damage toward armor. Hammer has more stagger (you can feel yourself better with Spear, but that Hammer has an high stagger value on every attack, while Spear only on 50% of its attacks, is a fact). Exe has more crowd damage.

Moreover if we nerf every weapon with stagger, the game will be very boring. Already now, playing with many heavy weapons (like Halberd or Elf Spear), seems like beating a wall with a spoon. It’s ridicolous the low stagger value of many 2H weapons.

We must start to buff the worse weapons, and then see the results.

You innitate with push. And that is not only the case for the spear, you stagger which mean no attack and better damage. So in case of spear, or billhook it is perfect. Having armor attack tied to push is weird and dangerous in crowd.

Pushing in crowns in general is what you should do to apply stagger and prevent the extremely fast attacks.
Moreover, hammer cc comes from charge attack which is really slow and bonce super fast on beastmens for instance (but I assume you take mercenary to say it doesn’t, try fk hammer in hordes of beastmens)

Finally armor damage isn’t very low. Lower than hallberd, yes but what s matter more are breakpoints and dps. Against one target, there is no contest. But against one target, you are not in a hurry. Against more than one, spear has way better dps because you have not to block or dodge thanks to stagger.

Having 1 attack that doesn’t stagger is not an issue if you dodge or if everything is still staggered. And hammer damage on hordes is quite low with its damage profile.

Elf spear is great imo. And if stagger on kruber s spear should be reduced, it is against storm overheads which will not change it s Playstyle against hordes.

Exe is slow, like really slow. Jump dodging is it s only tech in dire times, and it is not sufficient. Moreover it is highly relient on Swift slaying where spear is not.

But yeah, kruber weapons should see love overall, but spear which is way better than most weapons in the game and should be tuned down

I thought we had finish with “everyone has his opinion”, this will not lead anywhere. Anyway:

Thing that consumes stamina, as said. Sure, also other weapons must push to apply stagger, but weapons with a sweep as every attack, “waste” less stamina.

That Hammer bounces fighting hordes, it’s your opinion. I play Hammer often, and I haven’t never seen it to have stagger/cleave problems.
Moreover Hammer’s heavy combo has more or less the same attack speed as Spear light, heavy combo. But mostly, since Hammer has great stagger on every attack, while Spear only on 50% of its attacks… Spear should have twice the Hammer’s attack speed… thing that doesn’t happen.

I repeat it another time. Most armor piercing weapons are single-target. Spear is good to control armored enemies, but it can’t kill them. A team must have one guy with a staggering weapon (like Shields, Spear, 2H hammer, that control armored enemies) and another guy with an armor piercing weapon (that inflicts the damage). Spear can do only the first “job”, so that it can’t do everything, it’s a fact.

This is a big issue. You can dodge, but first it’s less safe than just spamming attacks (as you can do with Hammer)… and second also your teammates must dodge (because if you don’t stagger, you “damage” also your allies). This makes the things much harder.

Sure, we can nerf the entire game and play with bare hands… we have Reddit, Steam reviews, old beta section, feedback section, polls… most players hate the stagger system and how using some weapons is like beating a wall with a spoon.

With Merch, spamming light attacks with Exe, is much faster than Spear’s light, heavy combo… and every attack is a sweep, so you hit every enemies with every attack (thing that doesn’t happen with Spear).

This is false: there are objective facts that say that Spear has various cons compared with other weapons. This, and most players’ opinion, say that we must first buff.

And it stops at the first armored or shield, leaving you exposed.

You are so focused to have right, that you did not even read why you have to start with a push on every weapon, because of stagger and damage it provides.
You did not even read my mention about mercenary and hammer

So now, I m wondering at what did you achieve in game and what difficulty you are playing at.
Because from the kruber bow and spear discussion, your fact and recourse to “general opinion”, it looks like you are as biased as this guy with shade.

This false. It goes through almost everything.

I have read you, but just start a combo with a push is much different from “you must push every time you are into enemies’ range”.

I play Cata, but asking what duff I play because we have different opinion (also if some things are facts), it’s a rude move.

Anyway yes… We just have different ideas. We can stop it here.
