Las pistol is still more a meme than a weapon - here is how to fix it

You might be onto something with the recent changes, however it is not enough.

Las pistol could offer fairly unique playstyle, allow you to shot whilst staying mobile, close a gap between you and some shooters. As its damage is poor versus most targets, few things need to change to give it a niche use even on higher difficulties:

  • Damage drop off is too severe
  • As it rewards weakpoint hits (headshots) accuracy whilst hip firing and moving has to be even higher
  • It should use less ammo per shot. You run out of ammo too quickly on higher difficulties

This way you could use it to close a gap and deal with groups of trash shooters. Atm it remains a meme gun, which occasionally allows you to do it when I think you intend it for. Sadly this is still to dependant on RNG (shot spread when moving) and high damage drop off.

It’s uinironically the best accatran. The entire pattern (family?) belongs in the dumpster, fatshark should really look to do something about it. The playstyle you described has already been fulfilled by the shredder autopistol.
