Actually by going and instead turning ON launch as admin for both Launcher and Darktide.exe I managed to log in.
Edit: unchecking “run as admin” solved it for me!

Hello and Good Morning/Evening!
I just want to report that my game would not load up at all since the new patch was installed. Sadly there is no error codes or messages for this problem
For more information, the launcher did show up and the shader loading appear went to full, but the game will not show up. On steam it says its RUNNING.
I have already “VERIFY INTEGRITY”, 'REINSTALLED THE GAME", and “RESTART PC”
Do let me know if you guys got a solution to this!

Did fresh reinstall, did not touch anything and still wont work. Splash screen pops up saysbloading game then dissappears, no option to press play or settings, doesnt get far enough for a launcher log, but makes sense as launcher is the issue. Will sometimes show in task manager, always says 27b of ram used, fairly sure your games not that optimised so an error obviously occured loading the loader.
I have had three crashes in a row trying to launch today. One time it crashed instantly, before the title screens. Two other times it crashed on “Processing Inquisatorial Clearance”.

EDIT: I now saw the fix suggestion. I checked the settings, the program is not set to run as administrator.
New information: I have now tried 3 games which all have Easy Anti-Cheat, and none are working. I am unable to launch Apex Legends and Elden Ring in addition to Darktide. It seems Anti-Cheat may be at fault here in some way.

Hi here is my crash log, the initial window opens but when you launch the game it crashes. When put in admin mode if does not even give a crash code and steam thiunks its still running but does not show on file manager

For me, whether or not I am running as admin has no bearing. If I try to start the game in either fullscreen mode or borderless fullscreen mode (launcher settings), then the game crashes after opening and loading for about 1 second. If I start in windowed mode the game will run and I can play as normal. If I try to change to either of the fullscreen modes when I am in game then it crashes to desktop immediately.

I have the same problem. After clicking play on the launcher the game goes to black screen with the loading icon on the right bottom corner then it crashes with the log file as follow

After 154 hours, I am unable to play Darktide on my gaming PC.
Will luckily still launch from Steam Deck, but this is obviously not the best workaround.
I have attempted launching with admin mode on both mentioned .exe’s.

I have tried to launch the game multiple times. With the launcher and game set as adman with both not set to adman it doesn’t fix the issue and is frustrating

Tried, no dice. Also, tried launching Steam as admin, no dice.
Fresh install on an m15r2 alienware w/ i7-9750H, 16GB RAM, RTX 2060, worked like a charm. Max settings with DLSS on and RTX off and it can stay reliably over 60fps.
Works (although I won’t say with the same quality as the main pc or laptop) relatively okay on the Steam Deck (~10% chance or so to crash during launch, but otherwise stable).
All these options, of course, are not ideal relative to the main pc; and understanding that not everyone has the option to just pull out random old pc’s or steam decks out of places - this isn’t really an acceptable fix.
The main pc ran Darktide best during both the preorder and closed betas. Launch messed up the performance, following hotfix resolved it, and then 1.0.20 just outright killed it.

Honorable mentions: Vermintide 2 launches fine, as well as Elden Ring, which I believe both use EAC.
looking at the console logs it seems like something is stopping it from working correctly with Darktide specifically, but I am no tech wizard.
Ok. Uninstalled. Uninstalled AVG which was identifying GPUidentifer.exe as malware.
Reinstalled. Far quicker load time. Have got to character select.
Using Microsoft security.
