You guys moved it from bug to technical support???
What kind of scam behavior is that, it is a BUG!

Im done, refunded, ill check back in a year when you guys get this game working.

They still haven’t fixed the issue on their end, no reply/response from them yet somebody decided to move the topic? I’m pretty sure the actual issue is already known but we have to wait for them to actually do something…

I’m a software developer, that they dont have people on standby in the weekend to facilitate open beta testing 2 weeks before product launch surprises me to say at the least.

Fiddler (Network Logs):

I think your (well, mine) issue lies in what seems to be 0 requests to connect to a lobby websocket server or authentication (or even interaction) with a backend (besides normal EOS subsystem/SDK calls) between starting the game to the login screen as well as no requests after pressing log in (the most suspect of all observations).

I have the fiddler records if you want them, but posting on here seems like a bad idea as it exposes token, albeit they’re temporary. Here is a screenshot though:

What I find really interesting about these is that they’re almost binary in behaviour (one tries to authenticate, next doesn’t) however that’s a red herring as it isn’t 100% on a larger sample size.

Apparently it’s bound to your steam ID or steam account but who knows. At least I can tell you there’s no fix on our end, people have tried everything, ranging from hardware updates, software updates, reinstalling, SSD/HDD, verifying, firewall, anti-virus, changing video settings and so on…

I was waiting in queue while it was over 100,000 and then it dropped to 1, now I can’t play the game even after @DarktideComms on twitter is claiming that the server issues were fixed. Absolutely no indication that FatShark is aware this issue is still occurring.

EDIT: Confirmed that this issue persists even after uninstalling the game, clearing all Darktide appdata, rebooting, and reinstalling the game. Based on what others are saying, the issue seems to be tied to your steam account.

I don’t even get a que position. Just go straight to character select and then internal_error when I click play…

Dunno what’s going on nor if they know about it. It’s a complete fog of information and in the meanwhile it just doesn’t work…

Issue Description:

Trying to play the game after updating to the newest patch. I originally started at around position 50,000 in the queue, but an error message appeared saying that there was a backend error. Using Alt+F4 to exit the game manually caused a crash. I attempted to load the game again, but even more players were ahead of me in the queue, and the same error message appeared.

After trying to re-launch the game about an hour afterwards: I appear to be stuck at position 1 indefinitely. Waiting on the title screen for over an hour changed nothing.
