Stuck in queue position 1 since ive tried logging on 2 hours ago. Nothing has worked as of now.

So it seems to be steam profile related. I had my significant other try to sign in on their profile- no issue whatsoever, logged in just fine. Switched by to my account on steam, tried to log in, had the same issue with the queue. Consequently I tried it on their PC- I got the same error, but their account could connect.

Having this issue. So Frustrating. I have reinstalled, verified files, restarted etc. Nothing fixes. Yet my friend can play fine. What is going on guys?

I tried:

  • Turned off steam cloud sync
  • removing the darktide folder in %appdata%/FatShark
  • removing the folder in steam/UserData/(steamId)/(AppId)
  • Unistalled darktide
  • restarted PC
  • reinstalled darktide

Didnt work. Something is wrong / corrupted with the savegame / proflle on the Fatshark side if i had to guess.

I am also stuck at position 1 in queue.

I don’t know if this helps, but if I open up the game as administrator directly from the game folder, I get the backend login failure instead. Does not help me get in, but was hoping it could help you find out what is causing the issue.

Been having the problem for almost 12hrs now, I also get the backend error if launched as administrator. After launching the game like that, I tried launching it normally and got a single backend error before being stuck in the “Position in Queue: 1” as usual.

I have tried running directly as an administrator and it still throws me to the queue 1 error.

Out of curiosity, out of all of you stuck in Queue 1, how many of you have claimed the twitch drop? Seems the same thing happened to me after I did that.

No it was after the patch but i didnt watch Twitch before i got the “queue: 1” bug
