This, this right here. I hope Fatshark is keyed into this, 'cause I think the twitch drop is what did it to me, too.

I was fine, and played the game for a bit, then I linked accounts to twitch and claimed the first drop, and now I’m stuck in queue.

I have the issue too and I didn’t do anything with the Twitch drops.
Was waiting in queue after the downtime and jumped from spot 65k to 1 and have been stuck there since.

This is probably why social hubs are a bad idea. If I remember correctly there were similar problems in Anthem and The Division when they created a social area. Queues to load into the waiting area of a game are going to make a lot of people frustrated, myself included. If it’s this bad now, I can only imagine what launch day is going to be like with even more people trying to enter the game. Hopefully there’s an offline option when the full game launches.

This isn’t a real queue. It’s a faulty state.
The queue doesn’t move and only affects a subset of the player base.

Yes, it does only affect a percentage of the player base, but to have a queue to load into the game is what is going to frustrate people. At least for a while, until player population subsides. I can see it being an issue for a while when people attempt to log in during peak hours on weekends and after work, and they have to wait for a long time at the loading screen just to get to get into the game itself. it’s one thing to have a mission queue, but a queue to get into the main lobby? ouch. The Vermintide style solo hub was probably better since it did not pull server resources until trying to matchmake.

Vermintide 2 is peer to peer so a lot less problems then playing on client servers. There is no actual queue there is something wrong with the steam profiles / save games stored on their servers.

As a side note, it’s something going on with the server. I used a family share account and I was able to get on fine. Of course, it locks me out of all my progress since it’s an entirely different account, but it was able to load at the very least. Can’t you just restart whatever server is used to log in to clear whatever check is flagging these accounts?

Noticed that SteamDb said family sharing is now possible.
Just gave it a go given everything is pointing to something tied with account IDs and… it worked. I’m now running through the prologue.

Still in queue position 1 after ~20 hours, can’t login. Tried restarting game, verifying files, restarting machine, and reinstalling game.

Working Hard or Hardly Working!

It is quite obscene that people have been having this issues for the past two days. Now I understand that this is pre-beta and there are bound to be a few chinks in the armor. However, since June of 2022 this game has been pushed back 3 separate times. How has this issues not been resolved in the R&R phase as well as the Closed Beta run. You knew that these problems were reoccurring and the Update fixed nothing on my end. It just made my game un-playable, same with countless others on this forum and around the globe. I am a huge fan of the 40K universe and Fatshark games. having this happen after all the anticipation is a SUCKER PUNCH to the NADS!!!

Here ye here ye,
I’ve found a workaround brothers.

My GF had the marvellous idea of trying to use familly share system from steam and try starting the game with her account on my computer.
It worked, I am currently playing the game on my computer with the exact same specs without any problem.

The catch here is, I am probably just getting XP for her account meaning when/if this is fixed, I’ll have to upgrade the other account.

Also what does that mean? This bug is entirely bound to the steam account. I hope devs will read this.

If you guys can’t wait you can just make a new account, share it with familly on steam and start playing a bit while it gets fixed… Voilà, hope it helped.

i left the game running for 10 hours while i slept and it still says in queue position 1 XD im at a loss for options SOS
