Pretty much the same fix I had, cap FPS and the game is playable at stable 60, cant wait to have more frames though,

In my case capping FPS to 60 and lowering default threads from 9 to 3 possibly reduced the ammount of crashes but they are still there and tend to happen once every game at least, losing my mind.

BTW I have Win 10 so no 21h2 update fix I guess.

I tried a downgrade to Windows 11 21h2. No crashes anymore. But Windows updated now back to 22h2 and the problem with the crashes are back.

That is so annoying and frustrating, that a game basically cannot function with an operating system that came out more than a month before release of the game. How do we turn off the crash log notification, every time this trash coding causes the game to crash to desktop? It’s getting old sending it off to dead space and having to wait for it finish before I can launch the game for something like the 15th time today.

Issue Description:
I’ve been consistently crashing in almost every mission I take part in since patch 1.0.13 and sadly this was not fixed with patch 1.0.14. These crashes can often be multiple times in one round and there doesn’t appear to be a clear trigger.

I did notice that they are often straight after another characters dialog but this could just be a coincidence. The latest crash even failed to close the game completely and Steam was unable to force a closure so I had to reboot and could no longer reconnect to my game.

I’ve attempted changing multiple settings without any luck. Prior 10.0.13 I was running on high settings, dropping down to low or medium hasn’t helped. Turning off ray tracing also didn’t help, neither did capping my framerate or lowering light quality and effects.

I’ve also tried forcing Windows to treat Darktide as high priority on task manager.
