So basically Darktide will reliably crash every single time after a bit of gameplay, and most of the time if Im just standing around in the hub area.
I ran out of ideas on what to try…Since its happening so reliably Im hopeful of getting to more about why it crashes, using the crash reports.

As soon as I load into a mission the game crashes completely to desktop. This has happened in the past but recently it’s literally been every other mission I load will crash the game completely.

Worked for me, you can just try moving the folder and restoring it if needed, but worst case you reinstall the game, i didn’t have to. Seems everyone in here has AMD cards, try it I’d say. So im not playing with shaders, bummer but if this is the cause and we all get up and running with this workaround, we wont fall behind in-game and Fatshark can begin with a true fix, if this is the case.
If for some reason you move it and the game recreates it on game launch, I’d do my next steps, remove folder again, and launch game directly from local launcher in game folder with admin privileges. I dont get the shader loader this way, instead of via Steam launcher which initiates shader loading program.
Is there any ETA? New patch from nvidia today → more crashes…What the hell is happening here and why did FS become so silent about this topic? Havent read any progress except “its on top priority”. This has to get fixed ASAP.
Hey! I am having the exact same issue and i found some kind of temporary fix. Maybe it’ll work for you. In the launcher settings, i put my “Worker Thread” to 1 and i’ve been able to log onto the mourningstar since. Hopefully they fix this soon
