Karak Azgaraz is already in Vermintide 1, why not add new maps to Vermintide 2?

If we want to play Karak, we already have it in V1

I think this is just a nice extra.
They have been releasing a map-pack a year and we got a treacherous adventure. I’m much rather have this now than have to wait for longer. Plus, even if the basic layout is the same, judging from the trailer, the events are gonna have variations, so it won’t feel exactly as it did (like BtU).

I believe that the Karak Azgaraz maps we’ll be seeing are going to be map remakes like the Drachenfels maps. It’ll be different enough to justify its own existence and progress VT2’s story.

They’ll definitely progress VT2’s story, but Aqshy said gameplay-wise they are close to being porting a la BTU. I think it makes enough sense this time around

I’m quite happy to be getting Azgaraz as a free map, although I hope some of the end events are different, especially Chain of Fire.
Also, if they reworking the DLC in the same way as Dracenfels, that’s 3 free maps - which is all good in my book.
Considering the maps they’re launch for DT (arguably their flagship product at the moment) I’d rather not have rehashed map tiles with little individual spirit or character. The frozen waterfall is awesome!
