The most difficult aspect of Warp travel is that it is impossible to detect the spatial movement of Warpspace once a ship is in the Warp.
The ship can only blindly carry on, its crew trusting that it is going in the right direction.
The longer a ship remains in Warpspace, the greater the chances of encountering some unexpected current that can turn it unknowingly off-course.
In the wake of StrawHat leaving and comms taking a severe dip, @FatsharkJulia has been a great navigator of the Warpspace we entered.
Sheâs not only constantly on top of support requests but has even stretched into the role of CM here on the forums, often entertaining my mechanical curiosities with changes to the game and taking feedback to the devs and passing their info back to us nigh immediately.
I know sheâs helped plenty of you too.
If higher ups and team members can see our âpain points,â surely they can see the good vibes too.
Leave Julia a comment to show her your appreciation.
Thanks, Julia, for wrangling all of us nerds as good as anyone can ask. Much appreciated.
Aye, FS as a studio has not exactly been top-shape (though surprisingly good, comparatively, since the latest major update - a bunch of good changes and balance adjustments), but the CMs have always done the best they can, and it shows.
@FatsharkQuickpaw said he was gonna try and get a developer Q&A out, which is also something of note.
While I think the studio and the way its operating is in a bad place, Julia is a bright light in that darkness. Thanks for everything you do, Julia. I can only imagine how difficult the job is.
P.S. Special mention to @FatsharkLev for filling in while she was on vaycay and holding the fort down in VT2, and @Axloss for the dev interactions, especially in the Support section; I wouldnât wish those jobs on anyone but they kick ass!
