Hi so I am in the forums today, on the day of the launch of a mixed review type of update as of right now (At least on the forums). I just wanted to say that, StrawHat has been here for a LONG TIME, and I really appreciate what they do. There’s a lot of like, arguing about the update and all and I just want to put out a bit of positivity that we appreciate you StrawHat for all that you put up with from us, lol. Community manager is TOUGH, I’m sure today is TOUGH, and I want to say thanks for all that you do for us as a community. The game wouldn’t be what it is today without you taking the time to read though all of our posts, and advocating for changes with the other developers and I hope I speak for the whole forum when I say thank you for doing all that, and I hope the upcoming holiday will be a relaxing time for you. Anyway I just wanted to make this to make today a little easier for you and to remind the forum that uuuh… there’s only so much one person can do in a day and I’m sure StrawHat is VERY busy so be understanding, be kind, and remember to appreciate your community managers on hard days like this. Hear, hear! Fatshark Strawhat is one of the reasons (as well as Julia) why they got my labor of love nomination <3
StrawHat is the Atlas holding up Fatshark comms and doing their best to get information out of a company that seems to think information is a zero-sum game.
They practically singlehandedly have managed to turn around the PR of a company that, at least for this game, is not exactly trusted.
In all honesty, if they fired five or six of the so-called PR executives and gave their titles and budget to StrawHat, we’d probably see further improvements.
Their job is not easy. Their bosses have dug a DEEP hole with regards to trustworthiness, and are still trying to dig further whenever possible. But they’re doing their best.
Oh yeah! FatsharkJulia as well! I don’t interact with you as often but thanks for everything you do! I see you out there!
I’d also like to give @Axloss a shout-out too, putting out fires (some of them user-ignited) along with @FatsharkJulia over in the Tech Support section.

And Julia, and whoever is involved in dealing with us humans here. Even though they get paid for this, it’s still a hard job to do and it takes a toll on one’s psyche.
Your efforts are appreciated, and I wish we have met you guys on another forum, where the parent company wasn’t tone deaf and making you CS people the G. W. Bush effigy we burn in most patch note topics.
