What is up with all these huge mods coming to tide lately? First the 2 chaos wastes mods coming at the same time, then the LAN multiplayer one, now this. All in a span of 1 month after the game has been alive for 3 years. Did someone like crack some code/hacked into the matrix or smth?

But it’s more egregious in that game since people are making literal cheat using ‘qol’ as a front, and it can even directly affect other player that play without mod.
As long as someone adds the Nicholas Cage Flashlight mod from L4D2, I’ll be happy. Or mod that replaces TanksPlague Ogryns with Shrek, complete with All-Star as the music replacement. Let’s bring the modded L4D2 experience to Darktide!
The only asset replacement I want is to finally be able to ditch the terrible, ugly outline texture this game has and replace it with the clean outlines from Vermintide.
I’ve been working on this for months, and decompiling the C++ source code has also really helped, alongside also decompiling the VT2 SDK. Without it this probably would have taken a lot longer.
matter of taste, i like lore-accurate stuff that fits the game, never had rainbow unicorns and funny music in my games, but when it’s client-side, everyone can be happy with their choices.
