Occasionally during play, there would be a moment that my whole PC would immediately shutdown, causing me to turn it on again. This has happened a few times over play, and I have lowered settings, reinstalled drivers, reverted to stock settings on GPU and have reinstalled darktide to no avail. I am using a 7900XTX GPU and have had no issues with other games at high settings, but I am unsure that it might be something with the game or my system. I have attached the console log and launcher log as well to see if there is an answer to this.
Tried another fix by using Intel Xess and not using FSR or Frame Generation. Came with another issue a bit later on after 2 to 3 successful games when trying to load onto a 4th one:

Have already uninstalled GPU drivers, updated chipset drivers and turned off all overclocking to default settings but at least it’s a different error. Windows Even Viewer is showing me that the faulting module path is the gRPC_pluginw64_release.dll but I want to be sure it’s either a game issue or system issue before doing more. I’ve also attached the latest console log as well. console-2024-10-28-07.55.49-9758b990-7e22-415b-b969-d51a23b5d0fa.log (277.0 KB)
So far, I’ve turned off AMD SAM and capped my frame rate along with doing a fresh re-install of darktide after deleting the darktide folder from the roaming appdata location. So far, using Intel Xess has been working so far, I’ll keep playing and seeing if anything crashes it again but the main issue with the first crashes was to do primarily with FSR 3.1 enabled with and without the frame generation enabled.
There was a similar post here regarding FSR3.1 causing crashes and while I can confirm that I have crashed with it on, XeSS and FSR frame generation have been working great together and have completed 3 games so far with no issue with a slight bit of stuttering. It seems that the FSR3.1 seems to be the culprit here, with some consideration towards AMD smart access memory being enabled as well but I have not tested FSR3.1 with SAM off to confirm that issue.
Thanks for the additional info! We have seen an increase in crashes reported by AMD users, which we’re investigating and talking to AMD about. I suspect you may be right and that FSR 3.1 may be at the heart of it. Hopefully we’ll be able to remedy this soon.

I have tried lowering settings, turning off portrait rendering, default settings on my GPU and other fixes tried on the resolve GPU crashes here but no clue. The temps are fine on my 7900XTX and my 5800X3D is functioning just fine as well but I don’t know what is causing it. My system has run much more intensive games such as Cyberpunk without issue before. I’ve already deleted the Appdata and reinstalled a second time but in Darktide, I would complete a few games (2-4) and would crash to my desktop despite changing the graphics settings.
