Increase Plasteel DROPS PLEASE!

My Ordos used to fold, now they just jiggle jiggle :fist::pensive:

Memorialized you and your thread #479

just wait for darktide 2, fatshark needs a gamer designger.

You mean you could care less? And you could prove this by not attacking users for not loving your skinner box design as much as you?

Seems more like bro behavior to me, not being a stick in the sand for the sake of it. You don’t even have an argument in favor of it, just ‘lol it makes people mad so its good’. Amazing you admit to being such a low life and then claim intellect in the same post.

+Add scrap rewards when selling gear
+Add conversion system between mats

Easy fix

You need to add 40 talent points, increase the amount of plaststeel, or recycle the amount of diamondite and plaststeel on the map, add resources when selling equipment, add resources when receiving a blessing, add the ability to install sights on weapons, and all this can be done easily.

I forgot, we need to increase the number of rewards for completing the task!!!

40 Talent points? Hm, I’d be amicable to 35 maximum. 40 seems a tad overkill. Everything else you said is Ws, though.

Doubtful.

Even three times the Ordo, and Steel wont change how dreadful the chances for some weapons to roll a specific Blessing from their pool are. The amount of inventory management would also turn from adventure mode into epic proportion mode.

Rolling weapons would still be extremely time consuming too, and keeping random junk with weird Blessing would still be advisable, thanks to FS past tendencies to play around with Blessings.

It is currently not that hard to roll a decent staff, or even experiment with it, because they only got three or four Blessings. For those weapons the “more stuff” solution would suffice. For weapons like the THammer the only thing that would change is that it is affordable to roll weapons to orange for double your chances to get alteast one Blessing you like.

Where will this make me unbalanced? It’s not so easy to prove this, since there is no way in the talent calculator to give yourself more than 30, I would show you the build for a Veteran, and there is nothing unbalanced in it, like it was a glass cannon like that and it will be, but it will be at least a little bit simpler, no more.

My brother in God Emperor we are playing a game where people are already soloing Damnation, and Duo’ing the hardest difficulties possible.

Player power is insane right now. We don’t need 10 more skill points.

If you can’t make something satisfactory with 30 then that’s on you my guy.

EDIT: Fixed a word.

On all maps? for all classes? for any build? with any weapon? no, invisible and knives/hatchets, that’s all.
Few people do this, I tried it too, I didn’t get any pleasure from the game at all, and meanwhile 50%, if not more people, experience enormous difficulties simply on difficulty 5 (although I also observed problems with people on difficulty 4)

Good thing there’s 5 difficulties then and nobody is forcing anyone to play on damnation. Base damnation is pretty easy at the moment as is absolutely no to more general player buffs. A few weaker weapons that could still be tuned up? Yeah sure. 10 more skill points? Absolutely not.

Solo. No invis/stealth. Speedrunning does not count in my mind.

Yes, no one is forcing anyone, but here they go and destroy, I can’t get through it alone, since I’m not playing with an invisible build on Veteran, the result is predictable.
A couple of weak weapons? A naive Chukostan youth, meta builds say that there are only a few playable weapons. You have to overcome the rest.

I don’t know what to say to any of this it’s so insanely off base from my experience. A single passably competent team mate and damnation is very easily manageable on any class/build. Very easy with a meta build. Also holy moly they’ve buffed so damn many weapons and still there are people who say only a handful are viable. This is very very much a you issue. I’m sorry, but if you need a meta build to play normal damnation with a passable win rate you are simply not very good at the game yet. You will be at some point though and then you’ll be happy when FS doesn’t listen to absurd power creep suggestions like yours.

I have literally never heard anyone say they struggle to win damnation without specifically a stealth build that is such a weird take.

For as much as I disagree, at least looking at your build reminded me that covering fire existed and inspired me to make a new build utilizing it.

Hmm, it’s clear that you’re reading without understanding what’s written, I threw off my build and it’s not “meta” and I didn’t write that I personally have problems with 5 and 5+, randoms have huge problems, or we play different games.

To be honest I’m struggling a little with your english. Not trying to be mean, you’re probably right I’m not understanding you fully.

Let me recap from my perspective. Your suggested 10 more talent points for all characters. Someone else said “no that’s ridiculous the game doesn’t need to be easier” more or less. You said it’s actually hard and the argument continued from there. To justify giving that much extra power to the player characters the power balance needs to currently favour the enemies. It doesn’t… at all. So what you’re suggesting is wanton power creep.

Saying “randoms struggle” is not a good argument. QP is polluted with all sorts of variables, not least of which is people looking to be carried for better plasteel rewards so they can accelerate the awful crafting system as quickly as possible. I run into the occasionally shockingly bad rando but I also run into a decent number of people who just absolutely cruise through damn no worries at all. Most of the time QP Damn or even high int damn is a pretty relaxed experience. That does not suggest to me that we need to give the players even MORE power after a string of patches that have massively boosted player power in one way or another.

So I will say again no to more talent points. It’s a bad suggestion and we don’t need to be making the game easier at this point.
