Incorrect paintjob colour-coding on the Agripinaa Mk7 and Lawbringer Mk6 Combat Shotguns

The coats of paint on these two shotguns are the wrong way around. Most weapons are typically colour-coded as blue for light, green for medium, brown for heavy - but the Agripinaa and Lawbringer Combat Shotguns are the wrong way around, being green and blue respectively.

I understand this is comparatively minor, but at first glance I expected the Agripinaa to be the medium Shotgun from its paint, not the “fast and light” one.

(Slightly off topic, but the new shotguns are cool! Good additions. Looking forward to seeing more weapons later on.)

They’ve stated that this isn’t a bug, just that the colors of weapons merely coincided with how they performed.

Here’s the developer’s explanation, if you’re interested in knowing more

Hilarious. I, too, thought for the longest time that blue is color-coded for fast weak shooting and brown for strong slow shots.

Even if it was just a coincidence initially there’s no reason to just spontaneously break whatever readability or colour theming you’ve accidentially settled on.

The fact you do have a fair amount of people commenting on this for the shotguns and heavy stubbers mean that even unintended, it was already being seen as a way to read what the weapon does without having to dive into its details.

But I guess you can’t have consistent weapon colours denoting function if you’re intending to sell as many weapon skins as you can.
