Improvment suggestions: Charactermanagement

Hello,

I’m finally playing more Darktide again (now that the serious stability issues have been fixed).

In doing so, I noticed two things that could really bring QoL to players and not rely in any way on balancing or anything like that.

1) Access Armoury Exchange Shop for every Operator
Please give us the possibility to switch between the Armoury Shops of each operator no matter on which operator you are logged on.
It’s so unnessessary annoying to switch through every character after every second game to prevent missing good items.

I imagine that you can simply switch between the characters in the store above and buy something for this character with his resources.

2) Stay in Strike Group when switching Operator
Everytime you are dwitching to another Operator you leave your strike group.
Thats very annoying and i can’t see a reason why it would not be good to stay in the group

3) Currencys Accountwide not per Operator
More out of interest, I would be interested to know why an account-wide currency system was not chosen. It doesn’t really make a difference, except that the player is again forced to play a certain class just to get new items there.

Thank you very much,

Firehold

Yep. There’s an app to check the stores in a browser FYI so you don’t have to swap… Unless you want to buy something.

They pretty much said that this was intentional design intent to increase the progression a person has to go through.

That is a very nice information. It would be cool, if you could share the link to that app :stuck_out_tongue:

Hm ok, all i talked to are just annoyed of that. In my opinion it is better for the acceptance and longer playtime of players to give the players challenges, but avoid annoying systems and unnessessary complex structures. Buts thats just my opinion

Found the old thread with instructions.

Ok, there you can check the shop, but you cant buy anything. So my initial posts request is still active!

Yes, I just meant to just “check” the store (since most of the time you don’t need to buy anything) it’s faster.
