I am here for my Aquilas

Aquillas plox stop this disrespectful horrid greedy behaviour fatshark and prove you actually have a care for your audience

I am here for a game without the locks.

Aw, you’re making me tear up, big man!

I don’t care about the Aquillas. I’m here since beta and I don’t think you owe me a single one, but feel free to give everyone else anything they want. I really don’t care.

I do want to see crafting fixed though if you ever want to se me back to the game and not just the sporadic run now and again. I’m just one guy, and my leaving will not impact your bottom line, but there may be more people like me… and some people leave because a lack of funny money, or just that the store is objectively worse than the one you had in V2.

I wish the horrid crafting system would cause as much as an uproar as new customers be given a better deal than we got at launch (this happens all the time, and there is nothing wrong with it) but our priorities differ it seems.

Anyway, keep your cosmetics, but fix the game please.

They won’t compensate until “Krieg costumes” is gone. ‘MONEY MONEY MORE MONEY!’
But that strategy is fatally wrong. Because their latest “update“ to Armageddon costumes totally ruined the FOMO.

Is it greed if the extra money made from FOMO rotation is what is keeping 200 people employed and creating updates for this live service game? If those 200 employees don’t get paid then Darktide dies on its arse.

Would the community accept a catalogue if it meant slower and fewer or no updates to this game?

Dunno if this can really be called a good ask of fatshark without first being fully informed of just what it is we are asking for here…

If you’re so incompetent you can’t keep a business running without resorting to psychological manipulation against your playerbase, that business deserves to die.

Sure, but that doesn’t mean we have to pay for it if they don’t provide something we want to buy. Vermintide 2 is a game I bought every DLC for because I just wanted to support the company. Darktide… nothing… I haven’t even used the Aquillas I got from the imperial edition.

I will not use the cosmetics shop until it reaches feature parity with Vermintide 2 (small hurdle, it’s dirt simple, just a complete list of gear that you can buy for real money) and I won’t buy DLC until crafting is fixed.

What they have now feels very self inflicted, and I feel sorry for the devs. The mission gameplay is great… but whomever designed everything around the missions… I don’t know what their idea of fun is, but it’s not mine.

Well, to be fair, all sales are psychological manipulation. That’s what an add is. But I get your point, and you should never spend money on something you do not like. It’s pretty clear how to fix the shop. It’s pretty clear how to fix crafting. They just don’t want to do it.

They have to discuss the opportunity cost of an aquila-based solution with their financial stakeholders. This is what is taking time. It’s not just a button to press.
It doesn’t excuse the lack of consideration and transparency, though.

hope that they are doing this.

Imagin if they didnt have to sign NDAs/keep quiet about these kind of stuff to the community.
