HUD suggestion

Hello,

first, sorry for my english

I allow myself to create this subject to propose some improvements of the HUD and the interface in general.

  1. Character selection menu

-Add more information in this menu. What resources do each character have, what weapons do they use? How much HP / Shield do they have?

Something like this (thx paint…)

(I know there is a mod for ressource, i use it, but i think it is a good idea to add this in game defaut)

  1. HUB agent menu

-Add HP / Shield info (currently we do not necessarily know that all classes do not have the same life / shield)

Something like this (thx paint again…)

  1. Mission HUD

-Add numeric information ! Players like number
Need to see ammo for ally, how many hp / shield they have, cooldown for capacity !
(I know there is a mod, blablabla… need it in base game ^^)

-Add an icon for blessing related buffs

-Rework the feedback when we kill special/elite !
In Vermintide 2 we have little screen and not a text for that ! A picture speaks louder than a long speech

-Add add the scriptures / the loot pick up in the chat (information less important than the rest)

-A big plus, make the interface movable/adjustable
(mod, nananana)

that’s all I have to suggest for the moment, feel free to suggest other ideas. And let’s pray to the Emperor that one day, this kind of thing will be in the game ^^

There is a mod for the ressources/currencies. This is kinda relevant if you want to buy something and want to know if you can, without logging onto the character.
Weapons, Hp and Toughness? Why? Anything that you do with your character, where your gear or these stats matter, you have to first log onto the character anyway.

As soon as you play your first mission with the class, you will see it (before you are even able to evaluate the usefullness of any bonuses to hp vs toughness). But sure, why not.

Agree with all you say. But it’s just a matter of convenience. Not having to choose an agent and launch the hub to get various information. And not having to start a game to get other miscellaneous information ^^

I’ve seen “there’s a mod for that” excuse in a ton of different games, however I don’t think it should ever stop Quality of Life features from being added, especially when it’s just easy, helpful information like you suggest.

I didn’t even think of that, I agree that would be nice to have back. I’m guessing the reason they got rid of it however is on higher difficulties when you’re spammed with elites and specials it starts flying by really fast.

Agree with that. But currently, we also have text spam ^^ And I find an icon more readable than a tile
