I find naming your character after a serial killer and sex offender very distasteful and offensive.

You can put in a support ticket if you want to report something to the devs. Some people @ the CMās to get their attention, but theyāll probably appreciate you using the ticket system instead.
I wouldnāt be surprised if they didnāt action it though, this is pretty tame compared to some of the other names weāve seen in the past.

Dahmer isnāt exactly a low-key serial killer. He was practically a household name at one point.
I agree that itās usually better to just not let this sort of thing get to you, but the argument that itās fine purely because nobody knows who they are is pretty thin in this case.

Fatshark needs to grant us the ability to actually change our name first before we can be reported for silly names. Maybe he made his name that without realising he couldnāt change it? I get itās silly, but he doesnāt deserve to be banned or reported for it until the name change is possible.

Not sure if this is trolling or notā¦ But hereās how it works.
If you feel something is objectionable, block them. (side note we should be able to block more than 50 people)
If you also feel that a lot of people will also find it objectionable, report it to FS.
However just because you feel something is objectionable, doesnāt mean FS should block it. FS should block things they feel a āreasonableā person would find objectionable. If you showed that name to 100 people, how many would find it objectionable, 1? 10? 50?, 90?. Now how about a name that contains a racial slur, how many would find it objectionable? 1?, 10?, 50?, 90?
Now flip it.
If the player youāre referring to plays 100 matches, how many people they play with are going to be offended? You, clearly, but not many others, if any. Is it easier for you to block them, or for FS to force them to change their name?
What about mr. racial slur. 100 matches, itās going to be a pretty large number of people who are going to be offended, not 100% sadly, but itās going to impact a bunch of people. Should 90% of the players have to block the same player, or should FS step in?
Where FS draws the line is up to them, but this is how it works.
Block them and move on.
