Hotfix #41 (1.4.1) is now live on Steam and it will shortly be live on our other platforms.
- Fixed a server crash which could happen when updating player stats if any stat reached a very high value.
- Fixed a server crash which could happen if an Ogryn with the “Feel No Pain” talent equipped was hit by a projectile which was about to be destroyed.
- Fixed an issue where the Branx Pickaxe attack startup animations would be incorrect if starting an attack immediately after interrupting a Special attack by sprinting.
- Fixed an issue where the Antax Mk V Combat Axe was playable but showed incorrect stats.
- Fixed the following in the new mission Clandestium Gloriana:
- Fixed an issue where the backdrop would be incorrect when setting the volumetric quality settings to Low in the new mission.
- Fixed an issue where players could get stuck in the doors of the horizontal elevator as they were closing.
- Fixed an issue where players could walk behind the horizontal elevator gantry and fall through the map.
- Fixed an issue related to triggering VO which caused banter to happen less frequently than intended.
- Fixed an issue where subtitles in the Mourningstar could overlap during the Path of Trust cinematics.
- Fixed inconsistencies for spelling for Ogryns Pickaxes.
- Fixed an issue where the description of the “Torment” Pickaxe blessing would appear in undefined text in languages other than English.
- Fixed an issue where the wrong inspect animations played for Ogryn Pickaxe in third person.
- Fixed an issue where the second line of Zola’s intro for The Orthus Offensive special assignment was not playing.
- Fixed an issue where Zola’s VO lines are over the radio in The Orthus Offensive special assignment menu.
- Added a smoother transition screen when loading into a video or cutscene, instead of just showing the operative.

“bare minimum” for a update which has been in works since a long time (with barely any meat to it 6 month…) but I didn’t read a fix about the veteran having the 5% speed aura causing aborted mission.
Bare minimum but at least you gave some no name irrelevant streamers early access to this update instead of making like a public test branch like most games nowadays. To fix all those bugs before they go live

Now zealot’s talent "Invocation of death" can only reduce 1.5S CD every time of critical swing instead of critical hits, it means that no matter how many enemies we hit in this crit swing, we can only get 1.5 s CD reduction.
Is this a Bug or just as those devs’ plan? I have seen nothing about it in last patch notes. Now “blazing piety” has already become the worst keystone in auric missions because only critical hits mean nothing, and “Inexorable Judgement” has become the only choice in auric missions for the most players(Martyrdom is not fit for everybody, you know), just like the situation of veteran and ogryn, whose best choice is only melee BD in high difficulty. It 's weird, I still remember that devs have said that they want to more kind of BD.
I must say that I don’t like this situation, now something must be wrong definitely

Judging by what telopots (youtuber that is part of the internal testing group) said on his stream, this was something the testers advocated for but had no idea that it was confirmed.
So maybe it was a last minute addition that didn’t make it into the patch notes.

It might just be me, but yesterday the VO from Hadron when you upgrade your weapon was missing as well, along with that weird choral sound.

The changes to "Invocation of death " are intended, they just forgot to put it in the patch notes originally, if you check again in the Secrets of the Machine God - OUT NOW - Pt.2, in the end of the devpost, you will see it mentioned.

The servers still needed time to officially switch over. The freezes / crashes should be improved now. But of course, if you still have issues, please let us know in the bug report section so we can investigate further!

See you soon for an other hotfix… the game is incredibly unstable… errors 2014, errors 2001, 1003 (i just add it as I have just seen it), freezes, crashes…

Once again proving that having ‘content creators’ as part of your speshul core community testing group is a monumental mistake. Content creators are not your community. They are not your regular customers. Having them as part of your testing group is idiotic in the extreme.
I wonder how many other balance changes has been because of this very speshul community. I can quite vividly picture content creators screeching about how people are ‘shooting too much’ and ‘stealing muh kills’.
