Of course not…
However I wonder why it is a state matter to communicate with their customers? each time they release a “blog” it says nothing… and when you read what CM says to explain delayus it is always that they are fixing the text… like if it could start a war between 2 superpowers…
Guys, you own a game that has now less than 5000 players (3 038 players yesterday) on it. I can assure you that, at this level, the worst you can do is to not communicate… and revealing something too early or even, worse, have to say that finally you won’t go for something you announced would not be a disaster.
However, days by days, the interest for Darktide is vanishing… and this should be your main concern
Sidenote: your competitors have got the money I had kept when not buying from the cosmetic shop cause it is too expensive… you still refuse my money? (= no plan to lower the outrageous prices of cosmetics and no plan to stop recolors and introduce a for the drip system?)

The optics of getting out the bi-weekly hotfix before the penance info/devblog is baaaaaad. :frowning:

Its ok to wait some updates (some games have a long cicle) but all games what i know have one small difference from waittide - communication.

We have 0 news. LiTeRaLlY.

We have news that something will be possible someday, but this is not certain.

Thank you for this Hotfix. We don’t deserve it.

It’sa me, Mario! Time to defend Fatshark! Joking aside, you base this on nothing. If you look at how their previous two titles were updated (one of them still is being updated despite being over 6 years old), they are pretty much right on track.

Don’t buy their next title/s, don’t interact with their community’s or products. That’s pretty much all you can do in legal terms.

You could try and make posts on Reddit and Steam, as well as one of those “petition”-websites and hope that turns into something. Not sure how you’d go about that, or what the end goal would be. But maybe that’s something you could consider. Personally, I just stop interacting with the developer and their product.

Are you aware that there are previous, previous titles?
I’m not surprised if you don’t know, because Fatshark just pretends those games never existed.

I think we all a little dissapointed. Hope everyone will be as rational as u, kind sir.

I think while this situation is a bit…um…unfortunate… I agree with Tunnfisk it’s wrong to call the game “abandoned.”

If the game was abandoned they wouldn’t have put the vendor teaser in.

I do think that putting the vendor under construction would’ve been the perfect time to SAY SOMETHING about that vendor but that’s just me.

It may not be abandoned outright, but it feels like it’s barely a step above ‘we have the weekly janitor and Tim the potted plant’ resource allocation ie TF2.

Maybe I’m wrong. Maybe the next couple updates will be gigantic overhauls that make the game great and bring back players and everything will be Darktide Darktide Darktide for the next couple months.

I don’t see that being likely, though.

The first thing I did after updating the game was to go to the premium store, there was nothing new there. However, they restarted the game and there are new styles… Well done to you FS, each of your hot fixes contains a surprise in the form of premium skins, well done, keep making styles instead of fixing the game and creating content… The best of the best… I love it you FS
If you add styles (I have nothing against it), then write about it in the description of the patch, seriously. You’re like a cat that ate something and got milk all over your face, but pretends that it’s not him.

So yet another ‘hotfix’ which contained close to 0 actual fixes, and the only reason it existed was to upload new recolor slop to try to get money out of people for zero effort.

What a disgraceful company Fatshark really is.

I am fully aware that they’ve made games other than the Vermintide games. But those where the first Fatshark games I played. That said, are you saying they should update decade old games, still? Looking at the title of those games, I’m not surprised they aren’t actively updating them.

Yes, this.

I suppose; I probably would have myself. But this way it does generate some curiosity among people who are actually loading in and playing the game so they get to see things going down and get the hints first. It does create a certain amount of suspense.

Hopefully, the other shoe doesn’t take too long to drop.
