Hope that they have some more planned for the future

Vermintide is really well balanced and has lots of content but i really hope there is more for the future.

Fatshark if i am not mistaken after the last balance patch said there was more to come so here are some requests.

Bounty Hunter in my opinion needs some love:
-One of the current THP talents needs to be switched for a THP on cleave talent sue to how sloppy and bad his THP game is.
-Steel crescendo should be buffed to improve BH melee game and my take on it is to make steel crescendo affect BH until he is below 50% ammo.
-Prized bounty only works on one weapon (which isn’t something that should exist) and that weapon needs buffs as is so my take on it would be to make it so Blessed Shots resets with every melee crit.
-Job Well Done should give 2% dmg reduction on elite kill instead of 1 because having to kill 30 elites to get the full buff takes too long and this way it would just be a nice Qol change.
Just reward should allow BH to use is ult 2 extra times for 5 sec after he uses his ult.
-Indiscriminate Blast should have the 20 pellets by default, ignore shields and have very high cleave and dmg and after those buffs maybe drop the cooldown reduction this would give BH an alternative to Double-shotted or at least make it worth using.

Weapons that could use some form of love

Victor
-Falchion: heavy attack needs more cleave it makes no sense for it to have no cleave and it would just feel better.
-Axe: some cleave (enough to hit 2 targets at once at least), some nice stagger, increased power vs armour. In my opinion this weapon should be great at killing armour and maybe even be able to ignore super armour.
-Repeater pistol: Needs more ammo about 20% more and the RMB attack should have increased cleave and have more power vs armour.

Kruber
-Blunderbuss: Better spread, more cleave and power vs armour ( this weapon feels weak and it has one shot per reload so that shot better be good)

Bardin
-Axe: sames changes as Victors

Sienna
-Crowbill: More cleave enough to hit at least 2 targets, more stagger, more power vs armour.

Kerillian
-GreatSword: push-stab should be the same as all other greatswords.

I really want to put some map ideas or at least set pieces and events:
-Seeing and hearing skaven praying to a statue of the Horned Rat and the Heroes talking about how creepy it is and how many skaven there must be would be amazing. This could be in a map where the U5 have to into an under city during the time the skaven are preying which would give them an opportunity to attack.
-Killing Broodmothers deep under ground as an event would be pretty sick. It would be cool to explore more of the skaven society and culture.
-A chaos carnival would be a nice place to go see and explore all the horrible stuff they indulge in.
-Skaven under city where the only light comes from warpstone lamps.

BH is one of the most frustrating and outdated designs of probably any Career tbh. It almost plays like it’s supposed to be alone 1v1ing Elites. E.g. Shoot with a Crit for Open Wounds and then land melee kills for THP, but in normal gameplay it just doesn’t work like that.

HE DOES NOT NEED A DAMAGE BUFF AT ALL.

Blessed Combat is just too stacked and other choices add no real gameplay changes.

This would probably just be too RNG, and a lot of builds don’t run Crit on melee, since he gets no melee stats. People would just end up playing Blessed Combat.

If you don’t have this Talent Clan Rats, the smallest enemy in the game, can chunk you on Cata.

Agree with this, but I honestly think he needs something baseline instead, as he’s 120HP and no DMGR, no Shield Weapons, no Stamina, no BCR, no extra Dodge Range/Dodge Count.

You could also just add Specials to the list, so you’re not competing with melees or FFing.

Bit too much?

He does not need a damage buff. He alone can do huge amounts of damage to Chaos Warriors and Bosses, and 90% of the time, he’s running Open Wounds, so others get 20% damage increase on those enemies too.

His problems are lack of other viable builds, lack of unique playstyles and how squishy he is. Not damage. Lets not create another Outcast Engineer for the love of god, let the game be playable.

It needs changes, but lets not make it kill entire Patrols for no reason.

I just don’t understand why this has to be tied to ammo. It doesn’t feel good to be playing the most squishy Career, struggling for THP, getting annoyed when you don’t get Elite kills for DMGR stacks, and then having to play around low ammo, when you’ve got no ammo builders other than a Talent when you’re out, which relies on you taking 40% of your health in damage from clan rats.

Out of ammo mechanics are just annoying. Especially timed ones, like Steel Crescendo. More focus on headshots, Range and Melee, pls.

My suggestions:
I was going to sit down and think of an entire rework for BH, and think of some really unique Talents that would give him a lot more choice, but I’ll just drop these quick thoughts for you to consider.

  • Nerf Blessed Combat, but make it still work for Crossbows, as that’s where it’s best

  • If no THP Talent changes, add Burst of Enthusiasm (headshots/Crit headshots give Ranged THP) BUT give a THP burst for CLOSE RANGE headshot kills on ELITES, would combo well with a lot of his weapons - Brace of Pistols close range playstyle would benefit a lot - Skill = rewarded

  • Add any kind of defensive Passive. He only has 2, and gains no defensive stats at all, other than stacking DMGR - This makes Melee Weapons annoying to build for

  • Sit down and think of other playstyles, for Repeater Crossbow, Repeater Pistol and BoP - He can give supportive benefits too

  • Buff, remove or rework Rile The Mob, as it’s too low a number% and too low duration(BH can’t run Move Speed on Trinket, due to how Stat dependent he is in melee) - it’s also inconsistent, so as a teammate receiving it, you can’t really base movement on it. Probably wouldn’t even notice it

You also don’t get DMGR, so you get solo’d by Clan Rats and THP starved

  • If he has to get THP on-kill, give him a way to burst Elites with melee, but you would have to nerf him somewhere else. There’s no way to compete with melee Careers as BH. Being low THP is extremely frustrating. You can’t expect other people to let you get Elite kills

  • Slows and Range CC haven’t been utilized. The suppression or cowering thing from Darktide springs to mind as something that could work

  • More focus on headshots

  • Longer dodge ranges

  • Super Dodge on a timer

  • Crouching = high BCR

  • Ammo back from anything

  • Cleave INSTEAD of Crit on Blessed Shots

I would love more! As a game over 6 years old it’s tough to ask for more content, an update on “if” would be nice.

I would prefer a rumor about vermintide 3, darktide 2, or Greentide ? if they do AoS-tide I would be very sad.

I honestly all that i mentioned needs changing but the suggestions i made are very flawed. My hope is that more balance changes come to tackle underperforming talents and weapons. You did make great points.

V3 would be great but prob gonna take 4 or more until they think about making it so talking about what could be is nice.

I’ll probably end up writing some changes for him soon I think.

Gonna have to play him to get some ideas, but it really depends how much they’re going to change him. He really does have very little build variation rn tho.

For me the key things this game needs are…

  1. MORE ENEMY TYPES, especially for Beastmen who got the short end of the stick.

  2. Bot improvement and finer controls, such as hold command, come to player, go there, etc.

  3. Another set of weapon DLC, in particular Kruber badly needs one more ranged weapon

  4. Something that makes 1-handed axe weapons (including Sienna’s pick) viable. As suggested, a bit of cleave for certain attacks would have gone a long way
