Hi, Fatshark! The new weapons marks you added are really cool! Or at least I guess, since the awful crafting system, I have still to try them

But don’t get me wrong, Fatshark. If you think that I’ll play and grind until I have enough plasteel and luck, you are very wrong

I’m currently playing because I like the gameplay but when I’ll get bored of it, I’ll quit the game regardless wich weapons I have crafted

The only difference is that the fewer weapons I can use (aka variety), the sooner I’ll get bored

How many are we up to, now?

Soul here brings us to 482 members of the anti-RNG brigade.

And ~130 threads on crafting doing a rough count since I started trying to track them.

Pride to be part of something bigger. Thanks, comrade

I don’t know what dev manager is infatuated with this cobbled together and incomplete mobile-game gambling mechanism for gear progression, but someone in charge is clearly wedded to it for whatever reason and isn’t interested in addressing it. As a result, I likewise am absolutely completely uninterested in whatever new weapons have been added, that development on the part of the team essentially wasted, and my interest in spending additional money to dress up my warhammer e-dolls is definitely not enhanced.

In my line of work, if we’d had a customer facing issue with this much high-profile consistent feedback across every single interaction medium, for this long go unaddressed, someone would be out of a job. A manager leaving it to fester so long, constantly on the front page and dredging up toxic interactions on the daily without any response, would have been put on a Performance Improvement Program and then let go by now. This issue would have come up and been addressed by the C-suite as a relations/reputation issue, actively and clearly detracting from the work everyone else in the organization was pushing forward, it’s a professional and brand embarrassment that reflects poorly on the rest of the team.

That’s the fun parte, mate. They answered once. They answered saying there is a “silent majority” wich is good with the crafting system

Pure mocking. There is a thread about that of few days ago

Plus I’m still trying to understand, if this majority is silent, how does Fatshark know they like the crafting system?

Haha, so true! These new weapons are a waste of time for me, as i do not want to craft with this system! They look fun, but my god, I am not interacting with a loot system that puts the loot boxes of SWBF2 to shame, and that game got loot boxes banned, hahaha.

The point of adding new weapons is to get those people who’ve stopped playing and bring them back to the game for a while, not to give the diehards something to play with.

They legit don’t care that the diehards are complaining about the crafting system. These people are already locked into the game, whether they’re spending money in the store or not.

man, another post of nothing but salt…if you won’t try new weapons unless you deem them perfect that’s entirely your fault.

Your will be done #483

I haven’t tried the new weapons because RTO get them damnation ready and as good as my current weapons to compare as a baseline is too much of a pain to be asked of.

Fat shark really goofed off not adding actual new weapons before leaving for break.

You find everything in this thread, more info in the comments

“Perfect”, in almost 500h I’ve never found a perfect weapon… “good” is enough, but I can’t that neither

If I don’t find at least somethint synergizing with my build, I can’t compare the new weapons to my current ones, because of course they’d result weaker
