Heinous Rituals troubles

I was cruising through a Havoc 23 with friends in chat, and a few times we ran into some extremely absurd scenarios that made the experience feel like a Havoc 33.

  1. A Heinous Rituals was triggered a floor below us- an entire room between us and the heinous Ritual. In other words, we had the options of just to suffer the daemon host, or trudge through an entire room, trigger another boss fight or two, and then try to stop the ritual in time.

  2. Three Heinous Rituals triggered side by side in one area. In a havoc 23. Hilarious, yes, but chances of success? Nah.

These aren’t the only circumstances that have been making Havocs feel like rolling dice rather than a game of skill, cooperation, and strategy. The Rituals above all have been the most unreliable for a learning curve when playing havocs.

At this point, Heinous Rituals is insanely unbalanced for the challenge curve in Havocs. The trigger hit box for these rituals needs some kind of adjustment at least.

Follow up point, by the time you’re doing any havoc past 20, the amount of times we found it very boring to gradually hack down our shielded Karnak Twin or Captain is more than one. I understand the need for making it a challenge, but these bosses are the most uninteresting to deal with than the rest of the others.

These complaints have been present since the Rituals modifier came out and FS doesn’t seem to want to do anything about it.

The only way to clear those broken sped up rituals quickly is to send Stealth Zealot or Hive Scum with rocket launcher to clear it by themselves.

Also rituals stacking in the same area is beyond stupid, there should be a certain distance between those ritual spawns (in other words, 1 per “room”).

But whoever is behind Havoc just doesn’t care. All of these ritual bugs were reported more than a year ago.

Anything for cheap difficulty, rather than thought-out challenge.

Also the DH getting stuck in the floor. Just like laughably broken.

Mate of mine rescued us on Refinery Delta by killing the cultists with his Helbore in the area below through that mesh / metal fence, when we were ambushed after the first elevator by twins and horde.

Why is it so difficult to review how the event trigger operate? Those get clearly triggered in wrong places.
