Bugged Heinous Demonhost Rituals are ruining Havoc and the game completely

This modifier is completely bugged and needs to be removed from the game . NOW .

I AM SO TIRED OF IT FATSHARK. FIX THEM OR REMOVE THEM .

THEY ARE ON FAST TICK FROM MILES AWAY.

Yes, it’s idiotic.

The bar randomly speeds up or activates before you’re even near it.

On the map Vigil Station Oblivium, there can be TWO bugged spots. First bridge that you need to cross with medicae near the container, and the other bridge part at the end of the mission where you exit the elevator.

I hate this map so much because of Havoc, the elevator bridge part is just plain unfair. If too many Reapers spawn outside the elevator and notice you before the door opens, even Psyker shield won’t help you survive it.

Its about heinous rituals not working as intended.

I haven’t experienced this in 30+ havoc and think the progress bar gives a fair amount of time to kill them. Often when the bar appears we even have to fall back and kill a couple of monstrosities first and then are able to deal with the ritual but even then in most cases it was like halfway through and still enough time for us.

You mean to tell me getting riddled by bullets while not being able to shoot back isn’t fair? Hmmmmmmmm. :thinking:

Well, you can shoot back through the steel fence before the elevator opens the doors, but usually there are so many ranged enemies on this bridge that it’s really hard to even exit without risking going down.

On Havoc 40 I’ve had a random team who after 2 fails on this same spot decided to run double shield Psyker, just to escape the derank (it was before the changes). We cleared the map with this comp on the last try, but it’s ridicilous that this area is such an insane difficulty spike.

Also on a different run of Havoc I’ve learned that you can hide in the corner of this elevator to reduce the chances of enemies noticing you right away. This works kinda wonky, because it requires comms and teamwork, even one person not going to the corner right away can ruin the strat.

I’ve experienced both bugs in terms of the bar accelerating whilst being quite a distance away, or worse when it decides to spawn two of them in roughly the same region but have them share the same progress bar, so when you dive one and cause it to accelerate, the progress and acceleration carry over into the 2nd one.
Its why I’ve had runs turn to defeats because people felt the need to dive it ASAP rather than wait for good timing. Its inconsistent.
