It certainly wasn’t 30 minutes. People were already criticizing the train mission on darktide for being too short.
Edit: I checked other sources, some say that they were an hour long (in total) on average some say 40 minutes. I stand corrected. Thank you.
That’s said, they would have to completely change how the levels work and create landing and extraction zones for each unique segment.
Do you know how difficult that can be? I don’t. But I’m sure that to create such an implementation, would require more time than what was used on havoc mode. I’m sure that shark had something in the works similar to chaos wastes. People should hold their expectations and just wait and see what comes down the pipe. If you hold expectations, you will be disappointed because it won’t be the way you envision or wanted it.

Alot of dt levels end with an elevator, just have every one end with an elevator and the final one end with a Valkyrie extraction

Seems like the most thematically appropriate play to have some sort of have some sort of go deep into enemy territory where confines of reality are dissipated and and types of stuff could happen in random gen level tile sets
A rouge lite mode where they can really go off the walls with level design and modifiers would probably be peak darktide that isn’t limited to 1% of the most elite of players.
