Some day ago i started darktide again, tried the new ogryn, mortis trials and stuff (last i played 2025 january), then i played havoc… I sucked this mode very hard because my clearence level vanished, and ppls not accepted me in team even with true survivor title. I finally completed havoc 40 today, havoc was hard in the first season, but now its even harder than the whole souls series together, just insane, this is not enjoyable anymore. Pls fatshark if you intend your game to be that hard dont nerf anything anymore, instead buff what you can, maybe add 5 more level to classes.

so you went on a break, got rusty and struggled with the hardest content the game has to offer.
what in that chain of events isnt logical and should lead to the game be watered down?
so the intended difficulty isnt difficult anymore?
i play havoc 40 solely with randoms and making it through should stay the exception, not the norm.
if i want room for failure i play 30-35

I read it as, “You are seen as a predator” and I thought, WHAT!?
That out of the way, I think you can’t expect so much after only just returning. Start out small and build your way up. I highly recommend joining the official Discord, there you’ll find players willing to jam with you, no matter your current “magical number that defines who you are as a player”.
Makes me almost miss Raider.io from World of Warcraft. Almost..

This is like the third time somebody has complained about the Havoc-40 difficulty this week on this forum. Honestly, if you’re struggling, you need to be playing more periodically to keep up that practice. Even I do a Maelstrom as an appetizer before a 40 match-up, just to get warmed up if I haven’t played in a minute. I don’t think FS needs to be catering to anybody in particular, just because a few people find it too hard. That’s just laughably silly & too damn bad. If it’s too hard, it’s not for you, just play lower difficulties, it’s simple man. Yes, Havoc-40 is a bit harder than before, no doubt… But, I do think there should be modes for the higher-skilled player sweat-lords out there. There are people out there that love this kind of challenge & thrill, like me.

The problem with havoc is amount of absolute mad crap it can throw on you, 4-5 bosses at once, of course if there’s purple modifier, one-two of them will heal others, not to mention other enemies, 3 daemonhost rituals, 2 of which instantly fill gauge and team gets wiped, constant (100%) disconnects of at least one player, but usually more, i’ve seen on Mr. Unc stream, where 3 players got booted at once.
It’s what they did with arbites.
I play with randoms i dont have pro buddies to play with, i maybe got rusty but mostly i die last in the team, so dont think its skill issue on me, and if i want a chance to win high havoc i have to play psyker to constantly protect my team with bubble and dealing high damage.
You don’t play Havoc for fun. You play it for the challenge.
The challenge is the fun for most of us silly
Only real problem, everything else is cope
Tho I do agree Havoc is a little too harsh on the lower levels, but on the higher ones it’s perfectly fine
