Gors damage detection desynched with attack animation

I have been noticing that gors sometimes hit you inconsistently, or before you get to react, and I’ve finally figured out why. They have one attack animation (a backhand attack with their cleavers, moving their right hand from left to right), where damage registers as soon as their hand is fully up and right before it starts moving, not when the actual chopping movement takes place.

I was hosting, so this has nothing to do with latency. Please investigate it, gors already deal too much damage without taking unfair hits from them.

How to reproduce it: stand in front of a gor, let him hit you.
I don’t have any screenshots or video as I wasn’t streaming at the time.

Can confirm, happened to me both as client and as host, same attack animation and same enemy
