Always imagined a good VT style Daemonhost would be a giant Plague Toad, that sits in a pulsating bubble.
Lots of slight knockbacks and swallowing a Player, with some interaction, like fire or a Bomb to get them out. Maybe he can leave bubbles behind that explode.
Bubble spawns mostly near to ledges and water.
On The Parting of The Waves, where the Whale is on the docks, I always imagined one being around the corner of that building.
