Getting alot of connection errors

there are alot of connection issues right now. ppl getting kicked out of every game. ingame it says all players left and the lobby gets bugged. etc. something is borked


I get this a lot, Chat telling me people have left when they’re still here, joining and failing every game, weirdly massive loading times…

Something definitely broken.

On this note, I’ve had several occasions where the group gets completely stuck in a black screen and have to hard quit the game.

We’re looking in to this - but it would really help us out if you could upload the associated console logs.

There’s no console logs for me. What happens is that somewhere during the game there’s a message in the chat saying that people left the game, while they’re still playing in the game without any problems. After that, there’s messages in the chat of random people trying to join (probably Quickplay trying to put them in the game) even when there are already 4 players (so their joining always fails and chat says they left the game again). And after the victory screen you get a message of “Lost connection to host.” or something like that before the stats and reward screens, but the win usually still counts for the sake of challenges and chest rewards. Happens either when I host or join other games, and with friends as well as randoms.


All of this, but I’ve also gotten several simple “Error - Broken Connection”


A console log (not a crash report, confusing I know) should be produced for every session. :slight_smile:

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Vermintide 2\console_logs

Got to play today, finally. Would have uploaded a console log, but it seems whatever was wrong is fixed for me, at least. No problems for 5 rounds straight.

I’m getting various connection lost errors, such as broken connection, connection timeout when trying to join a game, ‘server error’ while unboxing loot and doing nothing inside taal’s keep - sign in time out sometimes accompanies this.

During the matches I join, 90% feature “player left the game” in chat including myself, at the end of the match the game attempts for me to join another who now hosts the match - it always fails to do so and I never receive loot or xp.

I am not experiencing similar problems with any other games.
