Pox walker should never take 3-4 powersword hits. we’re talking about trash mobs right? No offense but are you sure you’re hitting them or do you mean when its not powered because if its powered they pox definitely dies in 1 hit, 0 question. I agree they do take 2-3 hits unpowered. Power sword is overtuned at the moment because power mode allows for infinite cleave.
Yeah not im smacking them with a hefty chain sword and unless i smack them in the dome they dont go down. Im talking heresy here mind you, and im not talking about its powered up mode. im talking just regular swinging.
Chaiff units just feel super beefy for what they are.
I guess then yah, if we talk about light swings on heresy it is a little silly you need to wack them 4 times. I usually never bother light swinging on heresy because of this just push them and cleave their head into next week. There’s just simply no reason for power sword to not push, charge, push if needed, and heavy cleave everything. I dont know much about chain sword, so I can’t comment.
There’s a couple of youtube videos out now which claim to explain how weapon stats work. Worth checking out, because if they’re right, the stats are a lot more complicated than they appear in-game.
Not sure about these melee wpns, but I was also checking the Helbore lasgun and bolter, there stats difference mattered a lot. Hellbore with 75% charge rate was much faster to full charge than the one with 45%. The same for Bolter reload speeds. DMG difference between them in the same archetype was negligebale. On Powerswords cleave and mobility were also noticeable. Mayeb an issue with cleavers or some other stats on your gear or character proccing, dunno.
Because if that is true, then it literally breaks the crafting system. You’re statement implies that the crafting system cannot provide the most optimal weapons meaning you MUST RNG from the shop the best gun in the game. In order to have the most optimal stats you must literally pray on the 1 trillion chance you get the right gun and perfect stats that go well above 400 + you only have 1 shot to retry in the honor shop. You can see how silly that would be right, its more logical and likely that the crafting system works. Which also really doesn’t make sense as that would mean said gun would break the 80% mark 80 stat * 5 bar = 400(thats where the 400 comes from)
There are some good youtube videos on this topic if you want look around.
This picture should give a clear understanding of how weapons work.
