Game minimize itself randomly

Hello,
When I’m playing some times the game just randomly minimize itself. I have to click on the game icon to get back in the action but having lost a few seconds could cost me a lot in the middle of a horde.

This happens randomly with some days where it doesn’t happen at all and some other days when it happens in three missions consecutively.

I did not have this issue when I first started playing the game when it first came out. I player a couple of month without issue and stopped playing. I started again a month ago and started having this issue.

To be clear, the game isn’t crashing to desktop, just minimizing itself. As if I did an Alt+Tab.

I suspect there may be an external application interfering here.

I recommend to try a Selective Startup, which can help to identify if this is the case. To do so:

  1. Press the Windows key
  2. Type ‘msconfig’ and select ‘System Configuration’
  3. On the ‘General’ tab, select ‘Selective Startup’
  4. Deselect ‘Load startup Items’
  5. Reboot your PC

If the issue no longer occurs after having performed the Selective Startup, try re-introducing your programs one-by-one to determine which is the culprit.

Since the issue happens randomly and not every day your manipulation is going to take weeks. I don’t think it’s due to an external program interference since I was playing all right with the same rig before and there is no other programs that I added since then.

Is there any other thing that I could do to try and solve this issue please?
