Game Crashes upon Exit

Seriously each and every time in recent memory (at least since the end of last year) I have selected “Quit” (to log off before bed, mind you) I have had to wait 5-10 minutes or more for the game to close, often having to resort to using the Task Manager to End Task to close the game. I’m sorry but this isn’t acceptable. Why in the dickens should any application/program/game basically freeze or crash when I’m literally trying to quit or close it? Worse than that, the game is /still/ using memory during that time thus slowing my computer down even while I’m literally exiting the game. Included is the crash report:

Steps to Reproduce (Required):

  1. Boot up the game.
  2. Quit the game.
  3. The screen then freezes but I’m still able to switch to other windows (such as Steam) or open the Task Manager.
  4. Open the Task Manager, select the game, and “End Task.”
  5. The game closes but still gives me a Bug Report window.

This is a screenshot of after I selected “Quit Game,” at this point it had been about five minutes so I just left it and went to the grocery store.

Update: I remembered to time it this time and it came to approximately 10 minutes before I could safely do anything
