FSR-FG causes visual artifacts near edge of screen

Issue Type (Required):

Visual

Issue Description (Required):

Even while monitor freesync, adaptive sync, g-sync, or v-sync is enabled, and the max framerate (with FG considered) is capped 2~3fps below the screen’s refresh rate, FSR-FG still produces visual artifacts near the edge of screen when the player character is quickly turning around.

This occurs regardless of upscaling method used, however, this type of visual artifact is not found with DLSS-FG, and seems to be an FSR-FG-only issue.

Steps to Reproduce (Required):

  1. Enable AMD FSR3.1 Frame Generation in Video settings.
  2. Load into any 1st person gameplay environment.
  3. Turn camera around rapidly, from left to right & right to left repeatedly.
  4. Observe visual image ghosting.
