Fsr 3.1 and xess 1.3

Issue Description (Required):

When will fsr 3 arrive at the game?, and if it arrives, it should be on the 3.1 version of it, togheter with xess 1.3, which is an improvment of fsr ghosting issues. Please at least release it on the second anniversary of the game.

Platform (Required):

PC - Steam

Yes, XeSS v1.3.1 plus FRS 3.1 frame generation would be a god send for AMD GPUs and pre-2000 Nvidia GPUs. I am using the Uniscaler mod on my AMD setup and it works very well with no ghosting, so I know the backend stuff is there and they just need to implement these technologies into the game fully.

Don’t forget that 30’series don’t have frame gen either.

Well, 2000 and 3000 can use the DLSSG-to-FSR3 mod, which I do on my RTX 3080Ti build.

Yea, have been asking that for almost one year now, but no answer. Really hope it’s finally here with the next patch.

Strawhat had this exchange on Reddit today:

@FatsharkStrawHat - any news about additional graphic settings or implementation of DLSS3 or FSR3.1 in near future?

We will have an update on this in the patch notes this week!

I don’t believe you, where is that info?

lol

never mind, found it

I don’t know if it’s intentional but FSR 3 Framegen visually makes no difference in smoothness despite reporting a higher FPS. At least on a Nvidia card where I can’t abuse AMD’s fluid motion.
It’s very strange when comparing it to the mod that forced it in which did look smoother despite the UI also being interpolated.

Like in the middle of combat I was visually seeing 50-60 but my framerate reported 100, and this is with a 144hz monitor with VRR stuff on.

Edit: I went down on a mission and being brought back up made the game visually the framerate it was. It’s definitely bugged.

absolutely. I and a few other ppl have mentioned - FRS 3.1 frame generation is completely ignoring any kind of frame rate limiter set in either NVCP or in-game.
