people just dont learn and the whales and fatshark defenders will keep the whole thing going while barely getting anything in return with bugs running rampant
sound issues been known of a long time crickets constant disconnect issues
missions crashing / being aborted
weapon / talent bugs etc etc etc etc
and the biggest joke is still this whole rotation fotm shop but apparently it works well enough to keep lights on

Nothing will come of this and Fatshark will release a cosmetic next rotation thats a one-to-one copy of the multiclass cosmetics but locked exclusively to Arbites lmao

I wouldn’t mind cosmetic prices if it paid for monthly major updates, y’know, an actual LIVE SERVICE, but it doesn’t so Fatshark needs an attitude adjustment.

There’s been some people who claim that the ‘live service’ was incorrectly published and not reflective of what the game actually was because Fatshark itself never had someone directly say it was live service.
That has now been proven objectively false. This anemic update schedule, lack of communication, and predatory monetization is what Fatshark considers ‘live service’.

Yeah fat shark always said the game was live service. We just assumed that ‘live service’ meant maybe doing something weekly or even monthly. In Fat Shark terms, live service is 2 updates a year. At this rate for 2025 I don’t even think we’re gonna get any stuff for free. That is the new live service, like VT2, where they will only do something every 6 months for more money.

lol deflecting from what? A nothing statement from PR in a puff piece? Frankly, I have no problem with that $5 helmet, and I think the omission of the universal headgear is an actual issue. Which is why I haven’t bought the DLC.
The only thing of substance in the article you posted is the confirmation of new classes, which is why I commented on that.

I still wonder how that is even making them more Money then selling Cosmetics for better value in a non-FOMO Shop.
Like at least in my case i can say that i would have bought many Cosmetics by now if they weren’t FOMO and imo overpriced for what you get.
10€ for a new Class is good value imo but not 10€+ for a single Cosmetic Set and then a Weapon Skin for a single Weapon or a single Helmet costing 5€
Weapons Skins should come in a Bundle where you have the same type of Skin for many Weapons and then priced like 5€ then i would have bought so many by now instead of none at all.
And the FOMO rotating Cosmetics is just annoying.
But imo the worst thing of it all is that even with all that what do we get in return? Drip-fed Updates every few months with barely anything in it. Other Games release not just more but larger Updates whereas here its a ‘big’ Update if like three Weapons get released after half a year or more.
The FOMO Shop and pricing would also become more bearable and i would support the Game more too if we would get more frequent and larger Updates instead of just this drip-feding. The Class for example i bought immediately and got myself another Helmet for it too
