Frames are dead

Issue Type (Required):

Visual

Issue Description (Required):

Ever since new update. my Frames are dying. Gameplay no longer smooth. Feels like i am running 20fps turn-based game, instead of First Person Horde Shooter. No Video Setting were changed, and unfrotunately i have no prior vide footage to make a comparsion.

I’ve tried fiddling with graphic setting after the fact, but to no avail…

did you try turning off FSR 3.1 frame generation? I turned it off and I went from superman 64 frames with for some reason massive audio problems to fine. better performance than yesterday for me after that.

^ This fixed the awful framerate for me as well

I also had this, I had to completely disable NVIDIA dlss which then allowed me access to the FSR frame generation. Switch off FSR frame generation, restart the game and then re-enable dlss and the problem is fixed.

RE: Disabling FSR - I had it off by default. Also, today it seems to be fixed (at least in Playable state), despite me doing practically nothing.

A couple of us found that the graphics settings had been switched, seemingly with some AMD ones activated in the place of NVidia.

As others pointed out; if you’re on NVidia, turn off any setting that has “AMD” at the front, and then you can choose if you want DLSS or not. I’d keep Ray Tracing off though unless you’ve a monster rig.
