I think I would like this map more if the respawn times were normal, rather than being suspended until the wave ends.
This map is crazy difficult as is. On legend, the hookrats + chaos spawn is grotesque; I’m not even going to speak about the pack of chaos warriors followed by the bile troll + rat ogre combo.
However, the down time that many players have to sit through between waves makes this map less fun to play. I recognize that you’re using the old last stand models… however, those maps gave you incremental rewards for making it through stages, while this map doesn’t.
So – respecting the difficulty of this map, the fact that we get no rewards for partial completion, and the fact that the rewards are utterly out of sync with said difficulty – I’d really like it if the respawn times were normal.
