i’ve noticed that using this piece of headgear in particular makes the female voices sound oddly deep. i’ve used other pieces of headgear with masks(mouth covering) and this is the only one that seems to change the pitch of the voice so drastically.
i actually really appreciate that an effect was finally added to make it sound like their voice is being changed, and i love the effect it has on the voice, but i find it to be too deep in terms of the pitch, and it’s kind of distracting because of how bad it is. i was just wondering if the female voices can be tweaked to make the pitch more like their original as opposed to the deep, slow-mo-sounding thing they have going on now.
this is pretty much my favourite piece of gear in the whole game, and that on top of being a paid cosmetic item, it’d be nice to have it not make the female voices so deep.
Do you know how to disable this voice changing effect? I also have this diadem and I find the voice change annoying. I tried to disable it by setting the “Headgear voice effect” to “Off” in the audio settings, but it doesn’t work…
tbh, i didn’t even know there was that setting in the options to begin with lol unfortunately, i don’t think there’s any way to turn it off. hopefully they adjust it or enable the option soon.
