Not to mention we dont actually know how our “reject” spent their adulthood, the both psyker, zealot and vet could’ve had led a decent life.

Doenst sound like they’d be kept in a cell malnurished and battered by hard labor. Sounds like this specific one might’ve had led a fairly decent life for a psyker.

but maybe it is also because are generic faces, if characters might have been fixed, there could been more detail maybe
for example saltzpyre face, bardin, kerillian and sienna and kruber they are all iconic and charismatic, some have scars or missing eyebrow and eye, some black eyes, some with glowing eyes, with all these features, they look cool

also while the dub in darktide is nice etc. not a fan of certain voice types
some I like, but i feel like some are very bland
also i feel like there is less interaction to each other in Darktide, compared to Vermintide…

No, I agree this isn’t absurd to start with at all.
But if people try to use this as an excuse to prevent more, less silly looking options from being added, (which I have seen before) then I would call it absurd. And I did.
Edit - Although thinking about it, I stand by my other statement too. It is still absurd either way. It is still a statistical phenomenon with the scope of 40k that every single reject looks the way they do.

I’m pretty sure all the rejects have a history of being in battle though don’t they? Maybe I’m wrong but if so, google the photos of soldiers taken before and after ww2. It’s actually harrowing.
I’m not adverse to having some pretty people but it’s a bit cliche. The average human is, unfortunately, not gorgeous and videogames have an abundance of elvenspacetitsTM.

Cause it’s a manipulative trick they perform everytime to shift the topic away, first “reee you want some korean mmo faces in my game coomer go touch a grass!”. After you caught them on wordtwisting they will perform another, almost like a circus dogs, and will try to move discussion in some another direction.
There is basicaly 0 rational arguments why there should be no more choices, those who want to use current presets will do, other players will choose what they prefer. But they keep resisiting that cause they know 99% of players will move away from the current neanderthal faces as soon at there will be somewhat decent options.
You can afford to have no attractive characters if they are charismatic, but in non story-driven game were your character is just a dummy, noone want to play as a neanderthal, except freaks with weird kinks.
