Yea, I never understood how people are so adamantly against Versus Mode but celebrate/roleplay it so gloriously on the forums each and every day. Even more so in the Steam Forums.
Although to be fair. Several user seem to prefer a Player Vs Developer mode. I think Fatshark should just for fun integrate a Mastermind mode where the developers (and only the developers) can hijack any random Twitch Game and replace the A.I. director to spawn stuff themselves.
Henceforth you shall be held personally responsible if something like that should ever be released.
Versus already went live months ago. Just join any stream with twitch mode activated and vote Minotaur until the game crashes. Easy win.
The complete radio silence is indeed frustrating as a fan. I know they don’t want to commit to hard release dates, but their unwillingness to say anything just makes the playerbase question if any of this stuff is still being worked on at all. All it would take is an occasional teaser clip of new content every month–no commitments to release dates necessary–and much of the fan base would be reassured that the updates are still being worked on.
Just say something, anything. Heck you could tease some early art of chaos wastes and I would be hyped. This silence on everything is honestly bit frustrating for someone who still enjoys the game despite all its flaws.
u seriously cant blame covid, what about us workers that have been working in food service the ENTIRE TIME in close quarters, seriously a 116 year old nun had covid and didnt even know she had it and got over it
at an office u can easily stay 6ft from one another
idk its not really related but it makes me mad when ppl blame covid at this point a year later, its kind of disrespectful to the people who have had to work thru this without working from home and still got there work done right and on time
Questioning the high lords of F in this way is the most horrible insolence I have witnessed in my whole career as faithful follower.
For the last time, they only have like 100 people and Tencent as investor. They are busy with recoloring Bardins woolly hat and implementing game modes we all absolutely love like the weaves which were a great success together with the best DLC in gaming history. Demanding anything just because you paid money is what infidels do. You have to believe and collect the nicely colored hats for at least another 1500 hours before you are allowed to complain!
This is exactly what I was writing about we don’t need a release date but keep us informed on where things are at!
So I noticed that Asrai Alacrity picture in talents was change to look like Oak Stance. IDK if that is just on my end or what. I’ve reported it as a bug bit IDK if that could be related to some changes in the back end. Maybe there is something changed in the back end with these new patches for Kerillian??? Maybe something is coming soon?? Maybe something or maybe nothing.

Honestly I could care less about when it gets here I just want more information. I agree with you that we should be respectful to fat shark but we need to think about how fat shark has been treating the community recently. There is a point where no communication begins to hurt the community this isn’t a fact of “fat shark is bad give us chaos wastes” it’s more of I want information so I can enjoy this game more and be inspired to play it more because right now I have no want to go and play Vermintide 2 unless it’s with my friends which is fine for me but for other community members who are solo players this lack of communication is hurting the players. We can’t give feedback on upcoming changes we can’t affect anything that Fatshark is doing to the game before it’s implemented this is where the problem stems from we run into all of these issues that we have with fat shark because there is no communication. This honestly isn’t the devs fault or anything like that it’s who ever does community management that needs to be far more active with the playerbase so things like player backlash are delt with properly.
If you want to confront the community manager directly go ahead, that’s Fatshark_Hedge, but what do you want him to tell you? He can also only share approved information… I can understand the frustration, I feel the same way, but I really doubt that the blame here is to be found at Hedge.
Looking back at the problems of FatShark after almost 3 years of V2, it seems to be a general management problem. It’s not just the lack of communication - updates, bug fixes, etc. take forever… just look in the lounge, there is a thread called “Early July Premium Hats”… that was July 2020! Even if there are problems with the current system, such a delay is simply not understandable, especially because there are other games on Steam that sell skins and there are already solutions for them. There must be some problems with the project scheduling to explain something like this…
Well, as with so many staff you usually lose the most time with the simplest stuff. I’m working in an engineering company and it is insane how often mundane stuff eats large amounts of time.
In the case of the Early July Premium Hats the “issue” was that they wanted to get away from the DLC system for the premium cosmetics as it would clogg the store page and hide the actual DLC’s. Therefore, they searched a new distribution methode which needed testing, communication with Valve, more testing and implementation of the new system with Vermintide. This does NOT explain an eight month delay or longer but it explains how it got lost in Limbo as other projects took priority.
However, if I had to make a guess I would think we see them soon. For the coming anniversary i do NOT expect a new career, I do not expect Chaos Wastes. However, I think we will get the new premium cosmetics. In four days we will know.
Being respectful isn’t the problem and I don’t think it ever was. I don’t claim that the Vermintide community is free of toxicity but the streams never really turned into a massive flame-fest, as far as I am aware anyway.
Also, the player base isn’t made up of people? The next big expansion is coming out soon and we have what? Concept art of the Saltz’s new weapon and… I’m not sure what I am looking at but there it is none the less, Reddit - Dive into anything
There’re supposed to be new maps coming and the community loves new maps yet not even the slightest act of teasing, new info or building a bit of hype. Nothing. It’s beyond me why they are unwilling to show-off something they are good at.
Well, hopefully it will be a nice surprise.
I have followed the thread of course, if I refer to it. But a clarification is of course useful, for all those who do not want to reread it. The fact that the hats are missing is also not important, that’s not dramatic, but if it is already so obviously lacking on “small things”, who knows what else “got lost in the Limbo”… the premium hats served only as an example. 
I kinda have a bad feeling that the CW will become a separate game mode with a separate queue again and will meet the same fate as WoM (because we don’t really have a lot of info, and the ones we do have sound a lot like that). 
A separate game mode does not have to be something bad. After all only new maps - if we get some - alone would get stale quite quick. New game modes can offer a far more different and interesting experience in that regard. It depends on implementation though.
You are probably correct in that area general management issues is the cause of this…I am fairly certain that no single person is to blame here.
