I’m not sure if you guys have experienced it before but it happened to me quite a lot. When I on my range and fast swith to melee (Q), a lot of time it didn’t switch. What I meant to do is quick switch to melee > and quickly push the dog in the air ,but instead, it didn’t switch and zoom my range wep instead (because of right click that meant to push). Does it happen to you guys at all?
Next time I’m gonna record it with key press to see if I’m trippin or no.
I thought it was just my bad connection but i guess it isnt. This happens to me in pretty much every match, although it happens with every input. Reload, any kind of swap, aiming, etc i often have to press the input multiple times no matter what it is

some things never change
it changes the input prioritization to max, so when you press many keys at the same time you can cancel some inputs
your character can only perform so many inputs at a time, so if there are too many some get dropped, some external things also can drop inputs.
think of it as a to-do list you send to the server it doesn’t add anything to the list or changes how the things on the list are performed, it just rearranges the list to have the swap input at the top
They could, but they won’t, this problem exists since Vermintide 1 and was fixed with mods there too, they tried many times to “fix it” but it always breaks in subsequent patches.
This sounds like they want it broken. Switching between weps in many cases is a do or die mechanic especially when you play in high difficulty. idk why don’t they prioritize it.
