Exception preventing game launch

Just bought Darktide earlier and after installing the game every time I open the game through Steam, I get a Windows exception that causes the game to close. I have verified the integrity of the cache and all my files are accounted for and have tried every fix for the launcher that was recommended to try. I have run the launcher in compatibility mode and as admin and nothing has seemed to work at all. I can open the game using the binary launcher, but I cannot connect to the servers this way. Any help would be appreciated

If you have one, could you share your darktide_launcher.log with me please?:

Unfortunately I never generated a crash report. I got this error when I tried to open the launcher, so I never even got to the point of opening darktide and generating the folder in my appdata

Apologies for the delay, our developers suspect a .NET Framework issue but it’s my understanding you’ve already reinstalled this, is that right?

Yes. I reinstalled the NET framework with the most recent version.
