Hi, sorry i’m totaly new to using Fatshark forum.
Just wanted to say that the Easy anti cheat maj now ban any virtual machine from playing vermintide (i was playing before the maj without a problem, now i can launch the game.)
For reference i’m using a “Shadow computer”.
Is it a definitive decision?

Is this recent? Shadow is no longer allowing vm for me
Hi, I’m new to the site and I’d like to better understand the EAC issue.
I’m using Shadow, and when I try to launch the game I get an error saying that it cannot be started inside a virtual machine.
How can I fix this?
Is there any workaround, or is this a permanent limitation?

Having spoken with Epic, it’s my understanding that EAC does not allow most VM by default, and as updates are released, more will be disallowed.
That being said, in future we should have an option to specifically allow VM for Vermintide 2; but not with our current EAC implementation. This is something we’ll need to explore further.
For the time being though, we are parked on version 2511 and will need to decide on next steps.
@cyaanure we’re looking into possible future solutions to this, and it could be helpful if we can review one of your console logs with Shadow PC used - I appreciate the log may not be accessible due to Shadow PC limitations - but if it is, it would be greatly helpful:
