Dueling sword too good?

I want to know what people think like have you tried using other weapons in havoc 30+ how did they feel without comparison

  • Too good
  • A bit of both
  • Others too weak

i tried using the power sword, chain sword, chain axe, heavy sword and devils claw and none of them were particularly strong, either they didn’t have good perks or talents to support them. I haven’t tried shock maul, crusher, thunder hammer, or heavy eviscerator. the relic blade was ok, the combat blade is great, and the tactical ax is nice, the blaze sword is alright but honestly i use my staff for like 80% of the match which i think removes the need for horde clear on weapons.

does anyone think the other weapons are just fine have you used anything else in havoc, if the deleted the DS what weapons would you use instead

can’t imagine using anything other than knife/DS on havocs just because of mobility(before you consider absurd amount of damage both can put out). if they nerf or equalize it i think i’ll be coping with a rev it up chainaxe

i think that both the enemies, missions modifiers and talents support mobility based weapons and don’t offer much for other weapon variants

Duelling Sword excells in abusing crits and weakspots. All enemies have a head/weakspot, all enemies are vulnerable to crit. 1+1=?

the fact people see it as mandatory as book and bubble should be rather telling.

not saying it cant be done without, hell i do it with branx on my ogryn (yes not solo, i know), but the herd mentality of the “play it save at all costs” crowd leads to a self fullfilling prohecy.
